Fred, (I think that's who posted this) Don't give up. So then Jeff (her ex) set her up because he got dumped? I'm thinking the directors of Aleen's story would want to know more. A movie could fund her defense.
what is this "consistant" horse manure? if dna tests were done today they could say without a doubt one way or another whether it was her, or someonelse, no "well she has the same hair type....so obviously she did" it crapola. that and "well it's the same blood type as 2 billion other people on the planet, so she did it" stuff they ran for years and got away with
Hi Manny, Yes, loose terms like "consistent" sure were horse manure seeing that such words "narrowed it down" to 50 million people in the US including Cheri. But the final DNA test exonerated Cheri. Odd that only one month before that, Cellmark came to the exact opposite conclusion and used it against Cheri. 4-20-94 "Cheri CANNOT BE EXCLUDED as the source of the DNA found in the hair" VS 5-20-94 Cheri IS EXCLUDED as the source of the DNA found in the hair."
Yes, you would think that the Innocence Project would have JUMPED on the DNA evidence that still could exonorate Cheri. But when we proved to them it exists AND that police misrepresented that evidence at trial (saying it does not exist), the IP refused to help us. We even offered to pay for the DNA test.

There has to be an individual, group or organization of retired or INTERESTED law enforcement folks who can undo the wrong in this case.
An innocent woman lost her freedom many years ago due to bungling, ineptitude and worse.
How does she right this wrong???
