How is it possible that any 16 year old girl that shows some skin has 300 million views on youtube, and this guy, who's a freaking genius, doesn't...?! What a world we live in...
@nakinyko That is so cool. I listened to the Hill Street Blues theme, it made me laugh cos it sounded just like an '80s sitcom theme I wrote for fun :) I seem to have an affinity for this style...
Wow awesome. It reminds me of the Calm Lands arrangement from the FFX-2 Piano Collections. Really great style, love the arrangement and the production quality is superb as well. Would love to actually see your playing, how bout recording video among with the audio some time?
@Verdegrand Once I find a good way to record both, I plan to. I'm not great with audio/video software... I only just discovered you can fade in and out with Windows Movie Maker.
Also, Calm Lands - you're dead on. Was my main inspiration for this song's style.
@Kiamet Hey nice :) So it was Calm Lands :) And yeah I know how you feel, before you start with all this recording stuff, it seems to complicated and difficult, but one gets used to it pretty quickly. Looking forward to whatever you do next :)
Of all the songs in the gaming world to do an arrangement of...I'm surprised (and by surprised I mean compeltely overcome with joy) that someone would pick this one. This is awesome!
amazing work, can't wait till you finish those ff12 pieces :D
oh btw, question: did you do this by stopping the recording several times editing.... etc, or did you make 1 shot at it ( wow, motoi sakuraba? ) or just a couple?
either way im impressed at how well sounding it is as an ending result
awesome! if this doesn't lift your mood then what? first i need to play this game and then this main theme as well ^^ i'm curious about the original and how you improvised, is there sheet music?
Cheers Sorcerer, it's a pretty happy melody isn't it? I basically learned the melody and the chords, then made up an interpretation around that - sort of like using a lead sheet. Cos it was all written in my head, there's no sheet music for it.

This sounds awesome, nice improvisation!
I'm guessing there is no sheet music of this since you improvised it? I haven't had any luck finding it elsewhere on the internet either :(

@MarkoRuzinOfficial I did a few different takes for some of the sections, yeah. The chorus was the only section I 'planned out'.
