  • I eat cheese and i don't have any of those problems. Ppl have eaten cheese for thousands of years as part of a healthy whole foods diet. I'm just watching this video because I like vegan cheese on kale chips.

  • WOW that was entertaining lol but the price i have to pay

  • This was a very good video! Please more tutorials :)

  • @MrsLubin ok!

  • @CoachMericia My friend has a vegan mac and cheese recipe that you might like. I tried to copy and paste the link, but it won't let me so you can just search: ★minty in de kitchen★ Episode 7: Vegan Macaroni and Cheese

  • Thank you very much @ CoachMericia I will try this out

  • Hi I would like to know if you know of a way to make vegan cheese without the cashews as I am allergic to all nuts and would love to try this, please help me out. Thank you.

  • @Brookely3 Try this, instead of cashews use 1 cup brown rice, 1/4 cup oat flour (tip: put oats in a blender and blend to a powder) and 1 tea spoon of corn starch. You can do less oats and increase the corn starch. Add salt to your liking.. Blend all ingredients till creamy pour into a pot and heat up and stir till it becomes thick... this can be used fr mac n cheese... I will play with this recipe where it can be used for nachos and cheese. I hope you like it... thevital8@gmail.com

  • Its gets thick and creamy, not solid... I do have solid cheese in my cook books feel free to email me to request your vegan cook book. thevital8@gmail.com

  • can you use fresh onions and reduce the water ? also I don't think we get nutritional yeast in the UK , can you describe what it is so I can try to get an alternative thanx and thanx for showing your recipe I can't wait to try it

  • @ahamatmabrahman Yes you can use fresh onion 1/3 cup and reducing the water you can, but no so much unless you have good blender like a VITAMIX. Nutrional Yeast is optional you don't have to add it. You can add 1/4 cup of raw sunflower seeds to the recipe. Pls. feel free to email me if you want to purchase any of my cook books with other delicious cheese alternative. thevital8@gmail.com To make white cheese sauce just eliminate the red bell pepper.

  • @ahamatmabrahman Nutrional Yeast Flakes is grown by introducing pure strain cultures of yeast to a sugar medium. Beet or cane Molasses is typically used, although the medium can be starch from potatoes, or grains. Nutrition, very high in B complex. Do not mistaken for Brewer's Yeast

  • Cool recipe.

  • Yes the recipe can be used for pizza, nachos, cheese and lasagna. To make it more creamy add 1/4 sunflower seeds.

  • Thank you for this recipe! would it be good for a vegan pizza even though it is not mozzarella style?

  • Will check this out! Thanx for posting! You're so funny! Can I use normal cups. Here in Germany we usually use pounds, gramm and so on, instead of cup and spoon. And after cooking, where do you put the cheese into? And, does it's going to get hard and cutable or does it stay creamy? Can I use it for Pizza? Would be very nice if you could answer! Thanx again. Anja from lake constance, bavaria/germany.

  • @wanjas72

Sorry I took so long to answer, just realizeed I did not respond. Yes the recipe can be used for pizza, nachos, cheese and lasagna. To make it more creamy add 1/4 sunflower seeds. It does not get hard.

  • I don't know about going 100% vegan. I am giving up red meat though and would like to eventually give up dairy. Heres hoping this is good. Also any good alternatives to yoghurt? Thanks in advance. Great video.

  • Yes there is an alternative to yogurt you can go to my website and go to recipes.. there alternative to cheese cake, sour cream, brownies, meat loaf etc, in my cookbooks also.

  • @mikeannike You don't have to give up dairy, just substitute it. You should try Silk's almondmilk. It's really to die for, in my opinion. There's plenty of alternatives for things. Cheese, yoghurt (soy yoghurt is so good!), milk, etc. You just have to search for the right kind. For example, some "cheese" is really nasty and cardboard like, but some of it's also REALLY delicious.

  • You should not be using processed salt....it should be a sea salt or mineral salt that has a little color to it.

  • i just made this right now, its delicious im so happy! thankyouthankyouthankyoU!!!! :D

  • thank you for the recipe

but, oh GAWD were you annoying.

but i forgive you, because that cheese sounds like it's good.

  • You have beautiful skin! I bet it's the nutrition you get from the vegan diet.

  • HA HA! You are fun! :D

  • u r beautiful btw, thanx

  • looks good. i wish that i saw how it look after it cook on stove.does it become hard likee those block of cheese?

  • @cherri7 With a lot of vegan cheeses, it's optional whether you want it to set or not - if you want a cheesy sauce, you can leave it out, but if you put it in a tub in the fridge, it may harden.

I don't know about cashew cheese, but it just might!

  • @MargotVoguey thanks=)

  • Eeee you are so lovely! Thank you for your wonderful videos, you should do seminars I love listening to you teach :D

  • This video has made me make vegan cheese, I love this.

  • could you please write the recipe down?

can't understand everything you say, sorry

  • hi.....can any one tell me what are the ingredients;)

  • OMG! Thanks for sharing that recipe. I've been vegan for 3 weeks now and have been craving cheese. I'm going to my local whole food store to get all the ingredients. I don't have a problem with the salt. It's not like we're supposed to eat the whole batch in one sitting. Great job CoachMericia!

  • Check out my website I have a couple of other recipes for Vegan Mac N Cheese, Vegan Nut loaf, and Vegan Brownie made with carob. The biggest challenge is not knowing what to eat or cook, once you pass that hump you are good. After several years you might want to experiment with the raw food meals I am trying it, but not 100% just breakfast raw and lunch cooked. Feel free to ask about my cook books that I have for sale! Enjoy!

  • Oh and I am not trying to be rude.

  • Don't worry about it, I appreciate the comments no matter what! We are always learning! We just have to give room for choice. Thanks!

  • HA HA we do NOT NEED to eat salt. Raw food contains all the sodium one would need to maintain proper electrolytes levels. Even for someone who is not a raw fooder salt is in every food you buy in any store... Where did you study nutrition?

  • I was with you till you brought out that poison you called salt. I am sorry but that salt is shyt and no one should be using it.

  • Thanks for the commenting... Salt is optional.... I would suggest sea salt (redmond) because it has all its minerals. I would have to disagree about not having any salt at all. The problem is that we do abuse it. We only need probably half a teaspoon total for the whole day. But it is optional, sorry.

  • waiting on another video

  • Thanks, I have never used roasted cashews or salted cashews before, but I am sure it would add a different flavor. Health wise, the raw unsalted cashews would better.

  • what happens if u use cashews that r not raw? Gr8 1st video by the way.
