i have a LG banter..and i do the pay-per-day thing which works out for me. i dont need internet since i have a laptop. been wanting a phone like this forever, bt i wanna keep my pay-per-day. cant i just switch my account over to a droid if i got one?

yea dude I've got the iPhone & I think its an expensive toy the phone it self has always sucked! the damb thing & internet for my laptop is costing me $230 per month! how much do you pay per month for the Droid? I 'd like to get the Droid & internet from Verison if it works better & costs a litle less!

Well yea but that's an additional charge! Phone plan would run about $50 then you add the $30 on top of that compared to AT&T's iPhone $20 extra for their service-well it probly cost more now with their 3G service & let's not forget taxxes-can't forget the taxxes-oh go forbid we wouldn't get taxxes on everything! Bottom line! About over $200 after rebate not including taxxes,$98 per month hidden fee's & taxxes!

hello, I have been trying to decide between this phone or the LG EnV Touch for over 3+ months, I still cannot decide. May you tell me why you chose the Motorola Droid and some of the problems you have had with it? thanks! and may you tell me which would fit me! I'm 13, text over 5000+ text a month, need my phone from around 7am to 10pm which phone do you think would best fit me? I like apps, but i'm not crazy over them. Thanks and Greeat Video!

@jdubz36 alright, so u text 5000 a month, I believe droid is only 2000 a month I ain't sure. I got it because it was fast and for flash player which still won't come out for a little while, also for the droid there is a 30 buck internet fee each month, so you got pay for that. But the droid kicks every other phones ass. The only probelm I have is that there are not many good games. I hope this helps.

You can set it to noot flash, you can also download an app to use flash for a video

well eh yeah i mean for what the iPhone is meant for it is better but thats only because of the itunes...but you deff have more freedom with the Droid just not as many apps...i phone is in its what 3rd version of the phone? droid is on its first and its already up there with it....and depending where you live verizon has great service

You have to have a data (internet) plan for the phone because it is a smartphone. Its the same as a blackberry or any other smartphone.

NO! You need an email plan or voice plan with email feature but the internet would be a very nice feature to have.

hey for downloading apps does the price just get added to your monthly bill? and can u lock the phone?

yes and yes. I believe it goes to the monthly bill, maybe there is some android redeem cards somewhere, and there are apps the lock the screen, they're pretty cool, you is a bunch of dots 4x4 and you make the pattern you made to unlock it, so its tough to unlock

hmmm well lemme see, maybe if you set the ringtone to the contact then, it would be the message tone, other then that maybe theres an app, but i can't find a way (sry about the yes I thought it might work because I saw change ringtone) soory about that

i downloaded manual. before i buy phone i want to know. thanks for your help. No verizon employee can even answer oye. manual says Menu...Setting...Sounds n Display then phone ringtone or notification ringtone. If you see that on your phone can you see if the notification ringtone does the text?
