A LOT OF PEOPLE SPEAKS ENGLISH VERY WELL. I LOVE THIS COUNTRY AND I WANT TO TELL SOMETHING.DONT BE AFRAIND TO GO THERE. THE PEOPLE ARE VERY NICE AND ALWAYS AND VERY GENTLY.

Yes, it's built in a mountainous region.
No, they don't really speak English. I mean, you can find people who speak it, but the vast majority don't.
Everyone there speaks a little French, but most don't speak it very well.
Malagasy is their official language. That's what everyone speaks.

@jj72330 As of novermber 26, 2010, English isn't anymore an official language of madagascar by the new contitution voted 2 weeks ago. It is now just Malgache and French.
