I just saw you on TV. Just a suggestion. Stop talking! and listen. You talked so much no one could understand a thing that you said. If you want to get you point across try being polite for a change. Stop over talking the host. I would like to hear what you have to say but you were really loud and rude. It just turned me off to even wanting to listen.
Sorry about that. I was so intent on getting the message across that I overstepped. I want learn how to hit a better balance. Your post will help with that, and so I thank you. My website is in development and if you have a chance to check it out, please do. Feedback is welcome.
It is undeniable that wherever possible diplomacy should be used rather than war. However, what happens when countries ignore diplomatic efforts to get them to stop oppressing their people? You seemed to gloss over that slight issue.
We need groups of nations to deal with oppression. A strong and balanced United Nations, for example. The new UNASUR of South America supported the democratically-elected president of Bolivia when sections of that country were on the rampage. To be "balanced", the U.N. would need to eliminate the veto power now wielded, ironically, by countries which produce the most weapons of war.
