  • you can get the score of the piece in question?

  • horrible recording i didn't click on this video to listen to static fix it bye

  • it's not rachmaninoff piano concerto no 2 (and there is no movement four in that piece anyway). It's rachmaninoff's rhapsody on a theme of paganini VARIATION 18.

  • Hermoso!!!! Bravo!!!!

  • I loved every note of this!!!!

  • can u be my mom 2 so i will learn that

  • Wow this is amazing, keep listening to it over and over you have great talent.

  • No! No! No! No! No! Think before you speak. I don't know what the first part is. But I know it is definitely NOT Beethoven's Pathetique. It's two fifths and a relative away from the key you're playing in.

  • @thesonofBeethoven Oops! You're so right. It's Nocturne Op 9 No 2 by Chopin.

  • @Ravanous It was composed by the late John Barry for the movie Somewhere in Time. No doubt about that. Enjoy !!

  • @Ravanous you are so ignorant.

  • @thesonofBeethoven Ignorant? You don't know a C sharp from a D flat! An ivory from an ivy, a petal from a pedal! How dare you diminish my performance in such a major way: I'm no pizzacato delivery boy! How dare you bass your judgements on your assumptions and augmentations of logic like some type of ritard? You must be A minor or something to relatively F up that much. There are many keys to life and nothing is as black and white as you're making them out to be.

  • THIS IS RACHMANINNOV paganinni variation no. 18 dearest !!!!

  • Hey, that 18th variation is the John Barry´s version isn´t it ? Great!!! But I can´t find the sheet music for this....Does anyone have it ? Every sheet music i find is different... Do you have a link for this ? Thanks !

  • What is the make and model of the piano? Thanks!

  • que garoto belo

  • Change the title THIS IS NOT A RACHMANINOFF CONCERTO! THERE IS NO MOVEMENT 4 FOR HEAVEN SAKES. Good playing though.

  • @fierydog Oh right! I forgot. It's movement 5. Thanks for the fix!

  • @Ravanous oy. i have no idea for what the first part was, BUT THE SECOND PART WAS RACHMANINOFF'S 18TH VARIATION IN HIS RHAPSODY ON A THEME OF PAGANINI

go get yourself musically edumacated. AND THOUROUGHLY

  • @thesonofBeethoven Yes. I realize that thanks to your comment and will change it promptly to its correct title: Beethoven's Pathetique sonata mov 1. Thank you very much.

  • Beautifully played.

  • awesome...dude..

  • this sounds beautiful...but check your rhythm in the first few measures.

  • This was wonderful!! :) where did you get the sheet music?

  • Good job! My daughter will play "Somewhere in Time" in her recital - my request... I'll show her this video for inspiration. Thanks for the upload and good luck!

  • Great !!!

  • I'm giving this a thumbs down just for the wrong title :)

  • For the love of God Change the tittle already! This is not a Rachmaninoff piano concerto LET ALONE MOVEMENT 4

  • @Martel211996

sorry, you're right... it should be changed to Noctourne op. 4 by Chopin. Thank you for your correction.

  • @Ravanous funny. But really, you would think that after several people told you to change the tittle you would have done it by now.

  • @Ravanous change it then dont waste time

  • @Ravanous its the 18th varation of Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini by Rachmaninov

  • @Ravanous Don't you think it's a little too fast?

  • good playing there.

i have the sheet for the 18th variation of the paganini rhapsody (in Db if im not mistaken) and Somewhere in time (in C). i wont mind sending you copies but it may take some time. just send me a message.

  • Hi ! Great this version ! I can´t find the sheet music…The bigger problem is that I have the song (mp3) the same way you play, it´s somewhere in time + that other part (maybe concerto 2) and then other small part of somewhere in time…Do you know wich version could it be ? I want the sheet music too much…The every sheet music I find has missing parts… Could you help me ? The song I have is 5min 23sec long. Thank you very much!

  • and would you put the link to your website? that would be kind : )

  • They were once my mother's favorite compositions too! : )

  • Love both themes. You did a great job combining them. I enjoy your playing. Thanks

  • great play one of the best of this tune,, thanks

  • Amazing!

  • AMAZING. PERFECT.

    A REAL ARTIST.

  • I can't understand why all these idiots have to criticize you for the title of your video.

Why can't they just enjoy it without making negative comments.

Seriously, you could call it peanut butter and jelly concerto if you wanted too, who cares. If they don't like it then they should move on. Good job, ignore the negativity

  • Yeah, dude, interesting, considering piano concerto 2 was written in 1900 and Rhapsody was written in the 1930s...

Rhapsody is a separate piece (often considered to be a concerto itself) based on that one theme by Paganini!

    DUDE!

  • @JohnEBPiano My friend, i came across this video and i saw your comment, what a coincidence. I totally agree with your comment. Only a complete idiot would post something like that in the title. NO piano concerto has 4 movements, so that in theory would be wrong. As for the playing, you basically took the chord structure and played something of your own, this isint even the variation, this is like the 25th (which there isint). fix the tittle at least, show some respect for the composer.

  • A beautifully done rendition. The music is magical and you've done a beautiful job.

  • what do you mean by "concerto no 2 mov 4" here? the concerto has 3 movements and doesnt have anything to do with what you're playing. you're playing the 18th variation of the paganini rhapsody.

  • Comment removed

  • clapping!!!! bravo!!!!

  • Beautiful!!!! took my breath away!!!! what a grand grand performance!!! Thank You!!!

  • Very nice interpretation of the song.

You created it your own and added your own personality in it.

It's very different but very passionate :)

    5 stars!

  • Hi friend

I just would like say that the second music you are playing does not belong to a Rachmaninoff's Concert. This one, the eighteenth variation, belongs to a major group of 24 variations composed on the melody of the last Caprice for violin solo of Paganini. The Rachmaninoff's work has the name "Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini", A minor Op 43.

  • Very very good !

  • wat key are u playing this in?? its really good!

  • C-Sharp, miss :)

  • thankyou very very much!! =o) i usually play it in Cmajor! u did wonderful! =o)

  • love it !!!!!!!!

  • Wow, that was amazing. Probably my favorite from you. It's been a long time! I like the new piano. You've definitely become better. I'll see you around sometime.

  • nice video :)
