  • Why bother with this crap when there is the true combat arts of pekiti tirsis kali, kuntao silat among many other truely powerful arts in the phillipines ?.

  • haha obviously staged

  • Impressive? There are old men in their 70's and 80's in the islands who do this with sticks and no pussy padding. LAME actors

  • i could easily fuck these guys up in a real street fight

  • this isn't Filipino Martial Art.. this is acting!!

  • Looks fun..

  • they're just actors, let me see how would they defend themselves in real scene...Traditional training of Filipinos are much effective and far harder than this..which would work for real..

  • yeah its true when i go to thai boxing and i get a few digs from my trainer it does feel good afterwards it does make you feel fresh and revived kind of wierd in a way but very true!

  • Looks fun and dangerous, but respectable, I don't know martial arts and have only fought in just punch fights and lost both. If I have no fighting backround and completely clueless on how to defend myself if a person is trying to kill me, should I even bother taking some kind of Martial Arts ?

  • @Tom6093 kali kravmaga those are good places to start you will never learn how unless you try right?

  • uh... what is this? never heard of this...

  • bullshit filipinos should learn fma.you want hardcore kickboxing........... try yaw yan. saYaw ng kamataYan

  • what the f is this shit? filipino martial arts? damn not even close.

  • Wow thats crazy I actually trained at this gym in 2005 when I was staying in Manila.

  • What a load of pure shit. These rich actors should stop wasting they're time and do something more constructive to build the Philippines up, not have some crapola exclusive fight club. I'd love to smash a few of those actors for real without the padding!

  • @sidridesatriumph totally agree w/ you man and I'm pilipino. this faggots wouldnt last a day in a kyokushinkai summer trainning camp.

  • @sidridesatriumph I agree with you, they are no different than most hollywood actors in the united states.

  • funny how he says bakbakan..

  • i heard bakbakan in the philippines has sum rlly nice ngo cho and empty hands

  • FMA is serious stuff. My arnis teacher disarmed a kid with a crowbar who was trying to kill him when he was 82. The empty hand, stick, and knife stuff is all really brutal. It doesn't always translate well on video.

  • hahaha bakbakan experience XD

  • I'm multiple martial arts though. Same here I'm filipino as well bro. And yes it's how you fight, not the system.

  • i did tkd for 4 years and now i moved on to kung fu

i realize tkd is way to americanized

wushu(kung fu) is a better fighting system

tkd is good for basics but thats about it

  • Fighting system doesnt matter. It depends on how you use your fighting system. Unless your tkd school was a mcdojo then ill agree with you.

  • @williemayne try learning it in korea dude

  • philiphines is the GREAT!

  • but your spelling is not. LOL.

  • Right.... its Philippines

  • @bladestriker202 yeah it is, but not so great for us who have to work abroad to provide for our families. do me a favour and vote for someone who will do the job right (anyone but Noynoy fucking Aquino)

  • Gm Angel Blancia is the creator of Kung Fu Filipino Martial Art in the Philippines and it was globalize from the whole world introduced by the martial artist of Blancia System around the globe. It is true what KETCHUPBULL said. During the Martial Law and it was Marcos Time. Security and Exchange Commission are got a big deal on that behind the truth about Blancia system.

  • @kungfukingmaestro get real. your claims are completely bogus along w/ all the photos of people you claim are your father's students. example, you listed my GM, Al Dacascos, as one of your father's students. He has no idea who Angel Blancia is.

  • definitely looks like i'm watching a TKD demonstration. Makes sense, since Korean arts were popularized in the Philipines because people wanted belts. Let's look at the related Inosanto videos instead.

  • with punches >.>

  • I support GM Gloria Blancia and im knowing well she speak the truth not like you all are liar. Go ahead let me see how true you are!!! Government of the Philippines are number one corruption: Not yet Marcos TIme; GM Angel L. Blancia created already the Martial arts and it was, interfere during the martial law by using Security Exchange Commision under Marcos administration.. I spoke GM Gloria Blancia and she knews well more than we knews.

  • All of you, do your best. But ever since, your senior foundator neglect their origin GM: AngelL. Blancia. Almost famous martial arts artist in the Philippines are product of Blancia System. That is the true fact:

  • Nak ng putik hangang d2 b naman dala nyo pa halusinasyon nyo?

  • The fact is fact. You have nothing to do it. I knew the truth as well the other people who loved the truth.

  • You can't handle the truth. Your name speaks for what you are.

  • You can't handle the truth. Your name speaks for yourself.

  • um...lol...

u guys gotta realize that martial arts training here in the Philippines is nowhere near the same in the US.

For example, my brother was a white belt tkd student in the Philippines. When he came to the US they had to rank him up like 2 levels cuz his opponents were no match for him.

He had an exhibition fight with a black belt and I was there watching. The guy behind me even said, "a white belt on par or even beating a black belt?"

  • Taekwondo is unfortunately, not a serious martial art style.

You have two major styles of fighting, actual Combat and Showmanship. TKD is in the latter. I know this because I studied TKD for 2 years. As a style that centers around kicks, it's flashy. But nowhere near as combat stable as other styles.

Muay Thai, Shaolin Kung Fu, and other styles like Jiu Jitsu are much more combat oriented.

As for the thought of a fight club(which is basically what this is), seems like a safe way to cool off.

  • that's not the point i was trying to make lol...It's been a while since I checked this vid out but I think I was trying to respond to this one other comment about how the TKD guy overwhelmed the other guy who is suppose to have more experience.

What I was trying to say is that training in the Phil is a bit tougher than some places. Like it's more militaristic rather than something recreational like in the U.S.

But yea I fully agree with ya that TKD is more of a sport rather than self defense

  • @Xyntech06 try kyokushin karate

  • no offense, but that's kind of over simplifying it don't you think?

  • @UchihaSilvan that is your experience w/ TKD. there are many legit TKD practitioners who are very good fighters around the world.

  • @unclebraddah Well, I agree and acknowledge that. But it doesn't change the fact that it is currently a competition/show martial art.

If it was a true, no holds bar fight, I would choose Muay Thai or Brazilian Jiu-jitsu over TKD.

  • @UchihaSilvan so what is UFC and Strikeforce where the majority of it is BJJ and Kickboxing? Aren't they competitions too? How about BJJ tournaments or Muay Thai matches? In a no holds bar fight, anything goes. I like chair/barstool fighting!

  • @unclebraddah Well, don't forget that there ARE TKD Black Belts in UFC. Anderson Silva is one good example. However, as a single style by itself, it's still a very very disadvantageous martial art.

For example, a fighter trained in ONLY TKD vs a fighter trained ONLY in Muay Thai or BJJ. The odds are more in favor of the MT or BJJ fighter because of the specific way of fighting. TKD denies you hits in certain areas and restricts the use of punches to a high degree.

  • @unclebraddah MT or BJJ though focuses pretty much on knocking out or subduing your opponent via just about any means available. Choke holds, elbows, locks, kicks, punches.... The amount of ways to really take down your opponent is tenfold compared to TKD.

Though I have to admit that with all the MMA, Muay Thai has been toned down quite a bit. Still though, TKD as a single style is below that of more "combat oriented" styles.

Combined with other styles though, such as BJJ, or MT, it's great.

  • Comment removed

  • @unclebraddah So I mean, don't get me wrong. TKD when combined with another style is a great martial art. However, if in an all out fight, if I had to choose ONE martial art, it would NOT be TKD. They just don't allow much takedown freedom.

During one of my early sparring sessions, I got a stern lecture for attempting to take down my opponent using my fists. They drill it into you that you attack with your legs only. You really aren't allowed any types of punches. =\

  • @UchihaSilvan have you been to all TKD schools or making a generalization. Because there are TKD instructors and schools that teach a lot of hand fighting to compliment their kicks. Better to keep an open mind about any system then underestimate anyone or any system and get caught by surprise. There are limitations to everything. Muay Thai and BJJ are great. But having trained w/ many friends who are BJJ black belts under the Machados, it has holes as well as Muay Thai in which I train too.

  • haha can he do one more? haha I love my peeps XD...one more hahaha

  • Everyone gets beat, it doesn't mean he is a fake. He was just trying a new style out and following new rules. He was aboviously going to get beaten by a guy who has more experience in that certain martial art.

  • still it is appearent that he does not have a lot of experience in sparring

  • certainly kickass

  • tkd sucks ass.. i have seen master martial artists get there ass kicked by crack heads who knew nothing at all.. anyways the filipeno martial arts are the real deal there not the shit u see in movies they are kick ass killing styles

  • bullshit

  • after watching this video... I think you're right.

A dedicated Kung Fu student should've done better... the other guy was throwing TKD kicks.

Sad. I used to have respect for him, now he's just like one of those Hollywood Douches who claim to be 10th degree in every martial art out there.

  • Wow he seems like a genuine guy, i guess he didn't break all his fingers to make them stronger, i'm gutted, he was on Paul O'Grady today

  • its pronounced ass bak-baa-kan

  • You're probably tired of talking about this, but what became of Crudelli when it turned out he was nothing but a liar and fraud? It's a shame, I sort of liked his "delivery" and personality on the show.

  • what he was a fraud? what happen??? plz tell me.

  • woah...are ya telling the truth...was he a liar? cause he was a martial artist wasnt he...i dont get it

  • now I want to know if he's real or fake!

I know he can speak chinese, but does that mean he knows Kung fu?

    please tell me!

  • ang galing sya!

  • I was wondering, martial arts wasn't so popular here in the Philippines even with Pacquiao has been winning WBC championship matches

  • the actor is monsour del rosario.

  • I thought Crudelli was meant to be proficient in many martial arts, including Wing Chun, Tai Chi, Karata, etc etc etc. Surely if he was, he wouldn't have got his arse kicked so comprehensively by a tae kwondo practitioner?

  • An Olympic Tae Kwon Do champion who fights regularly in a Kali/Panantukan gym. Don't you think that's a little different from little Jimmy down the street with his orange belt from Kim's Karate? The Philippines is a great place to get your ass kicked.

  • wow he got it hard. havent seen this ep so thanks 4 uploading!
