  • You took more time talking than you did actually showing us something useful. >.<

  • I made up 20 of the loops. then I had the kids in my kindergarten group draw their hands and we made cookie cutters out of them for their moms it was awesome! I really think the greatness of these is being able to make cutters you can't buy :)

  • you could use soda cans too :)

  • I love this! I actually use cookie cutters with polymer clay for jewelry, pins, or whatever. I'm gonna try this.

  • nvm tried it and it didnt workk...

  • could yu use aluminum foil?

  • @amstacmike9 I think that will be to soft o.o

  • I used this technique this past Easter and made homemade peeps! I had little pink bunny heads and yellow eggs. I had to stop and clean the cutters every so often, but they held up against cutting though homemade marshmallows which is a bit of a feat.

  • you were kinda ranting for awhile; the actual tutorial is only like a minute long.

  • Katinkerbelle, I think you need to look up the word ranting. Ranting means to speak in an angry or violent manner. LMAO!

  • pretty good! those cookies look YUMMY!

  • Wow, that's really clever! :)

  • @Zai5nah - I look like Amber from Teen Mom on MTV? haha. OMG! I don't think so...but funny thought.

  • @xDamaged - Yes it's super duper easy to make. =)

  • great idea! I use cookie cutters in my polyform clay art and I was wondering how I could get the shapes I wanted. How does the aluminum keep its shape since it isn't a harder material like the cutters you get in the store?

  • @mimiz914 - Thank you. =)

  • Youve got a nice narration voice.

  • @Gravity43kg Thank you. =)

  • lol sorta xD

  • Wow, I'd never think of that. This is such a great idea! And girl, you are soooo prettty!!!

  • @piccalily - Thank you for the compliments. =)

  • omg! I have to say this is an awesome idea! I'm an avid cookie maker and i'm always bummed at how pricey cookie cutters are.. With this tutorial, not only can i design my own cutters, but the materials used is so affordable that even if the cutters distort after several use, you can easily make another one.. =) After watching this tutorial, i made myself 5 new cuttters (mickey ears, sheep, heart, flower & castle)! Can't wait to try them out tomorrow!!!

  • @sugarashley - thanks! i'm glad u found my tutorial helpful. that was whole reason why i made them...cuz it's cheap and easy.

  • OMG THATS MY NAME TOO!!!! Lol so it is a small world after all XD The only difference is that I spell it Leilany not Leilani.

  • @sweetnsour80 Thats a really pretty name :D Is it Hawaiian?

  • @sweetnsour80 - yay! we share the same name. =)

  • AWESOME!! and man those cookies look delicious :D

  • wow really smart idea a+++++++++

  • For the people worrying about how long the cutters will last: How hard is it to cut through cookie dough? Those tin foil pans can be used over and over again just by themselves. Do you guys just throw them out after you use them once? That's a waste of money if you do. She also doubly secured the strength of the foil when she folded each side over.

& My last point is that this method is so cheap and easy that you can make 2 or 3 of the same cutter if you're so worried about the sturdiness.

  • The shape may distort when you are using it. You wouldn't be able to store these without worrying about them crushing. <--- some things they may be worrying about. :)

  • @suganspyyce: As I mentioned before, even though I've yet to try this, it seems to me that the folding over of the material helps reinforce the strength of the cutter. If you're using them excessively then I can see them getting a bit distorted. I see no real issue here if you're just being careful storing them as well as using them. I personally think this idea is the best so far.

  • maybe get like your own plastic container because most of them are the same weight that way there not crushing and deforming each other lolz!

  • @GooGoo32 @Suganspyyce @ Noodle1998 - Hey good questions! I am the one that made the original video. And to answer your questions if the cutters is sturdy enough...they are...because like GooGoo said, I folded them a couple times so that they were stiff in shape. And as Noodle said...I do store my cookie cutters in a plastic container to keep them from being crushed. If you go to my channel and watch my Valentines Cookies video...you can see that I actually use them in my video. =)

  • thanks :]

  • now i dont have to buy any more cookie cutters ^_______^

  • is that strong enough for a long time?

  • CUTE!

  • way awesome!

  • Too much talking on this video. The cookie cutters are good though.

  • very cute, is there any permanent way to secure the edges so you don't have worry about it coming apart?

  • well done, careful handling of this material is paramount. Perhaps a wider strip where the edges can be folded twice.

  • Cute! Really innovative. :)

  • This is in perfect time for Valentines Day.

    Thanks!

  • Perfect! I'm going home to do this right now. :)

  • this is cool thanks

  • Great idea!!! Thank you : )
