  • BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!.....where can i get the sheet music!!...i want to refer this song to my choir teacher..

  • Wonderfull...

  • A lot of people think "Arirang" is just a random word/the name for the hill referred to in the song but it has the roots of "arittaum" (beautiful) and "nang" (closest translation... person??? like when they used to say nang-ja?)

  • that sound's so good and i'm doing that song too in my choir

  • i taught english in korea, and often think on my students and my host parents who thought of me as a daughter, most of my kids are all grown up now. i always loved this song.

  • i love this song and ma parents too we miss korea!!

  • OMG!!!! The best I've seen of this song so far!!!!!!

  • This is just too beautiful! ^^

  • This is a very beautiful rendition. My family recently hosted a group from Korea in Jacksonville, FL and one of the group's leaders taught me this song. It was quite an honor!

  • Cool, anyways, whats the meaning of Arirang eh?

  • arirang is a place, its just a name

  • Arirang used to be the name of a pass or gorge in Choson (I use choson since it was used in the time before it Choson split into North and South Korea).

  • @toogsh1 Thanks for the infor. For a long time I was thinking it cannot be a sad song unless ...sorrow befallen and now I know the civil war that caused it.
