The Jason Campbell comparisons are clearly because he's a big light skinned black QB.

Jason Campbell's numbers aren't even close to as good as Woodson's and they are two completely different styles of QBs.

Woodson is a pocket QB. The fact that people criticize him because he can't run is a joke. Just because he is a black QB he has to run to be good?

campbell is a startin qb for an nfl franchise drafted in the first round, hes got a cannon arm and has great touch, hes very inconsistent and cracked under pressure allot last year. he has potential to be great, but i doubt he will.

andre woodson was drafted in the 6th round by the gaints, whose qb jus got super bowl mvp. the giants have 2 qbs on the roster, when most teams have 3, but they chose woodson sucked enuff that he wasnt worth 1 roster spot

Campbell was much more mistake prone in college, and still throws a lot of interceptions. He only threw half as many TDs as Woodson his senior year. Woodson rarely turns the ball over (he had a 4-1 TD-INT ratio this year, and I just see him as being something especially with his willingness to improve. And even if Jason Campbell is his worst case scenario, is that really that bad?

Woodson reminds me of a mix between Byron Leftwich and Ben Roethlisberger (you are allowed to compare black players to white players and vice versa btw)... strong arm, good accuracy, can throw on the run, smart player, doesn't make a lot of mistakes... he might not be the most athletic player ever but neither are a lot of successful QBs. He'll need to improve his ability to read defenses but he has the work ethic to do it.

i dont know if it had to do with him being lazy as much as it did U.K. hiring Randy Sanders as the Q.B. coach. I believe he completely turned Woodson around

This guy is soooooo overrated. He's pretty accurate as a passer but is so weak under pressure and has a tendency to make bad decisions. Plus, he's already 24 years old.

The guy is constantly under pressure because his Oline is atrocious yet he still managed to lead the SEC in passing and have one of the best TD/INT ratios in the nation.

no he is easily the calmest qb in this draft. i too dislike the age factor though because i go for the falcons and there is a chance they might draft him. Brohm would be good, but i know matt ryan is considered the best qb coming in this draft but i dont think he is physically talented enough myself

He's a less athletic Jason Campbell. I don't understand why people are being so excited about him. This year's QB class is easily one of the worst in years, and I don't think anyone coming out this year deserves to be a first round draft pick.
