  • @antidescent It's not greasy and doesn't drip. It glides on :)

  • Thanks for this xoxo

  • Cute kid!

  • I have a question. Do you have to use coconut oil? (I'm allergic)

  • @icebaby009 Hi, Ice...hmmm...I suppose you could use shea butter. You'll have to just play with it some for the consistency :)

  • your little boy is so adorable. I can't wait to try this! I wanna make some with my neice I think she wil love it.

  • @northofhome28 Please let me know how it worked :)

  • So do you feel the alcohol and armpit candy work equally the same?

  • @rabbott3253 I like armpit candy better because I didn't like the idea of inhaling the alcohol :)

  • are the essential oils you’re using the same with the ones burning on candles?

  • @broadwayjunkie12 NO! LOL! Those will burn your skin. Go to your healthfood store and ask for essential oils :)

  • @SPARKWISDOM those are what they're giving me... anyway.. i'll go find it in other stores.. thank you.. :)

  • are the essential oils you’re using the same with the ones burning on candles?

  • You mix very fast. I can't mix that fast. Btw what do you do about nipple hair?

  • So what happened to the alcohol and orange oil mix?? Did it turn out bad?? Or you just came up with something better-I'm all for it!

  • @rabbott3253 LOL! Just found something easier for the little one. They aren't so sharp at spraying under the arms.

  • Thanks for the video!!! Your son is too cute!!!

  • First of all, GREAT video! Thank you so much! Second of all, I know maybe this is very personal and it's fine if you don't answer it, but what religion are you? Lawl. I just saw you and thought you looked religioous... is that weird?

  • @lalalaunicorns Religious? LOL! I Hope I don't "look" religious. I am a Christian though and I do my best to walk the walk and talk the talk...LOVE. :)

  • @SPARKWISDOM

Your son is so adorable...I would buy dirt from him ;) May God continue to bless you in your pursuits

  • @kayforever77 LOL! What a cute comment:) Thanks! He's a really great little guy-a true blessing.

  • HI...Just wanted to thank you for this video. I've tried Toms and Kiss My Face natural deo and was not happy with the results.

I used your recipe and replaced orange oil with rosewater (certified organic) as the fragrance. It turned out really well! The smell is heavenly. I applied it at about 7:30AM ... its how 6:10PM and its still going strong! I absolutely love it and will continue to use this formula. Thanks again :)

  • @NaturalHairlLvr YAY!!!! Glad it works for you! I REALLY like it!

  • Adorable little boy. thanks for the info.

  • @gggrinz Thanks for the info. I will look into that.

  • Aw nice meeting you too little guy! I have a question about the coconut oil ingredient. Doesn't it make your pitts feel greasy especially when you sweat?

  • Wow! This is pretty neat, I will try it, I would actually have just preferred to buy from you, but England is so far away, keep up the good work, GB!

  • Wow...your gorgeous. Your husband is a lucky man...your videos are great by the way. Thanks.

  • I used Baking Soda and a little water and used it as deoderant and my arm pits turned black and got irritated...Im hoping the mix of the other ingrediance will couter act

  • can i use castor oil instead of coconut oil?

  • Your son is adorable!

  • Thanks for this video. I am going to order some of your armpit candy, not good at making things. Also, how do you become a OLP distributor.

  • I have found the same recipe on another site. I have made it and it was excellent...with only one down fall for me. It irritated my skin when i sweat a great deal. I started using it when it was spring and later into the summer. You have inspired me to make it again. It worked well for my daughter w/ no complaints. What would you recommend for it not to irritate? I currently use Jason's Tea Tree Natural deordorant, which is great as well and not expensive.

  • @lionsmane20 I bet the baking soda is what irritated you. I'd suggest using less Baking Soda. Truly you could just mix baking soda and water if you really wanted to. That would work just fine :) I simply don't like the smell of tea tree oil. Reminds me of Lysol. LOL!

  • @SPARKWISDOM LOL Thanks! I didn't think to reduce the amount of baking soda.

  • @lionsmane20 Hey, I just watched a video by PassionateHomemaking called How to make natural, homemade deoderant and she said that cornstarch has Talc in it which can be irritating. So the cornstarch could be why your skin was irritated. She used a substitute for Cornstarch called eru or aro powder, something like that.

  • @gggrinz Thanks! I am so late replying. I am going to look into that ingrdient as well.

  • Great video.....your son is so cute! =)

  • @SPARKWISDOM Thanks for the info!

  • Uh oh! Did you embarres another one of your children on video? Haha

Aww, very cute how he said: nice meeting you!

  • @ShumiKawaii88 LOL! Most homemade products with shea have a long shelf life. You'll probably use it before it goes bad :) Plus adding honey is your preservative. This product lasts 1-2 months.

  • i like the way you say oil :)

  • Using patchouli, tea tree, juniper i think

  • @SimplyZeal - It really does. I love it.

  • What a little gentleman! I definitely have to try this one out! Thank you for sharing :)

  • I will be making this deodorant for my daughter and I. I was wondering, are you using a 1/4 cup for the cornstarch and baking soda?

  • @breemom842 All of the ingredients are listed in the info section :) You can use less if you'd like.

  • such a gentleman :)

  • I love the presentation of this video. You've got a Mac? Welcome to the light Sis and thanks for the new recipe. Stay Beautiful and Strong ;-D

  • @niaevans Yes, I see the light! Hubby has had one for years and I never realized how wonderful, easy and amazing they are! He helped with most of the edits...I'm still learning :) Thanks for watching.

  • @RockStarNique1 umm imma need for you to identify yourself....are you Male or Female?

  • @MoniqueNJ Rockstarnique1 is my baby girl and dportis47 is my husband. Monique, as you make videos your style changes. In fact, they become more focused and the quality rises. If you notice, I no longer have too many videos over 5 minutes because I recognize the quality of time of my subbies. Some of my videos are spontaneous, while others are planned (tutorials take planning). In no way though am I looking to scam you or anyone else - ever. Yes, I promote my business sometimes. Why not?

  • Good recipe! And your son is a handsome fella!

  • @ChinaDoll762 Hi, China! Thanks for watching! Sir, is so helpful! Just my little "Man."

  • oooh! i love this and my favourite essential oil is also orange!! :)

  • @louloumatou Me too! Did you know that Orange essential oil is known to increase confidence? Like we need more, right? LOL!

  • @SPARKWISDOM heeyyy!! maybe that's why my head is so big all the time! all that orange essential oil i put in all my homemade products!! lol :)

  • @SPARKWISDOM - I knew. I am a budding Aromatherapist. What is the sheld life of the deodorant? I am using Jasmine and Sandalwood in mine. Tee hee hee.

  • @SimplyZeal Months! It will run out before it goes bad :) I bet yours smells wonderful!

  • thx so much! your vids are so informative, adding this to another one of my homemade concotions! so glad u r making deodorant bc that has been one of my #1 issues- finding one I feel safe and comfortable using, that smells good and WORKS!

  • @mamat1213 This WORKS! I used it for a few months before donig this video and I like it in the jar better (it's hot here in FL). Let me know how it works for you Luv:)

  • @SPARKWISDOM you have been so informative, i pray God continues to bless you. thanks

  • thank u so much for this

  • @graycious3 Thank you for watching!

  • @theinnercreative Yes, baking soda could be used by itself really. It just may cause skin irritation for some. It works for us and Mansir likes it too :)

  • AWESoME THANK YOU!! your son is soo cute! this is why i subbed!

  • @1rosiestar1 LOL! Yes, he's a great kid. Thanks!!

  • I have been using your original recipe since August and I absolutely love it! Being aluminum free for 3 months now feels great. I noticed that you did not use any type of anti bacterial such as tea tree oil like you did in the other video. Does the orange oil take it's place? Thanks for sharing your wisdom!

  • @BLACKPEARL1908NSU Yes, I just can't stand the smell of tea tree oil. Ewww!!! LOL! So, I made the substitute using orange. Plus, Mansir would never use the tea tree oil recipe. Really, I believe its the baking soda that deodorizes, the corn starch is soft for the skin and the coconut oil just holds it together. Glad it works for you!

  • :) I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL! And Mansir is such an incredibly beautiful young man! :)

  • @LordGiveMeStrength Thanks!!!! We're having fun.

  • Your son is so well behaved, great attention span unlike most kids that age, and I don't mean that in a condescending way (because I babysit little kids), he is just too adorable, a great representative of his mummy :)

I have never thought to make deodorant that's like a creme.

    Now I will!! Thanks!!

  • @Moviesmoveme Thank you so much! He's a great little guy. Big talker too. LOL! Always super excited about thing I make for him which makes me even happier. This recipe works better as a creme here in FL since its so hot.

  • Love this recipe! I've been using a version of this for the past 3 months or so.

  • @msfullroller Mansir's sisters' begged me to make his some deodorant. LOL!

  • Great! Thank so much for making a vid in addition to answering my comment :)

  • Lol your son's way too cute!. Quick question, would it be a good idea to mix tea tree oil in this or aloe vera gel in this, in an attempt to combat razor bumps? If so how much of each would you recommend I mix in? And if you can mix those in, can you still add other EO's for fragrance - such as peppermint oil, and will the measurements have to change for that EO add in as well, not that the other EO and gel have been added? TIA

  • @MsEveMarie This is how the best recipes are made! Let me experiment a little. I would suggest reducing the Coconut oil 1 TBSP and mixing 1 TBSP aloe vera gel. Always use the essential oil for a preservative. I'll make a video :)

  • @SPARKWISDOM ...I am allergic to any form of corn which includes cornstarch.. Can the recipe be altered to exclude the cornstarch? Will it have the same effect...I already use aluminum free baking soda, and coconut oil so I have those two on hand...This is a great Idea though.

  • @codergurl Absolutely! Just remember that too much sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) will cause some skin irritation. It also needs to be dissolved sufficiently, because dry powdery baking soda can chafe skin just like sand. You'll have to start with a small amount and measure. Don't forget the essential oil. ;)

  • @codergurl

    Some ppl use arrowroot...

  • @jessie1793 ..good idea...never thought about that...thanks..

  • My thirteen year old is making a batch of this right now. I will also make me a container of this. You are so awesome! Thanks!

  • @nat3803 Yea, let me know how it works! My tween and teen use it too.
