Mind you, i had to get it pierced twice, since the first time the needle went in, it somehow fell, and my hole closed so fast. the other piercer ended up piercing it in the same hole. so i had to get it pierced, twice. and my experience lasted a whole 10 mins.

honestly i dont think percings hurt ..i got one when i was like 6 months old ..and i got one a couple of weeks ago and i did it to my self..the best way to do it is to put a piece of ice on the part your gonna peirce so it gets numb and then do it but ofcourse you have to sterilize it before you add the piercing

I got the same piercing now. The first day, it was a lot of pressure, but the next like few days afterwards, the sweeling, pus, and pain started. The best thing to do to keep all that to a minimum is to not sleep on that side. But it is fine now. I just recently took the hoop out and now i have a stud on it. Great piercing :)

I prefer the gun (3 times with a gun) and I think it's best. There is really no infection as widley specualted unless you don't clean it properly. Much less painful too I hear, and it was only a pinch for me.

NOOOOOOO DONT DO THIS! just save up and see a piercer, it's just so much better. more hygenic, a professional so better technique, better quality stuff etc. even if you did buy all the proper stuff off ebay it still won't be as good. it's just worth the money to not get stupid little hard bumps in your ear you get with an unskilled piercing - i pierced my own lobes a few times, and they were pretty good BUT they left scar tissue and it's weird

i had a 20 guage (regular earring) when i first did my tragus but i streched it to 16" after it was healed the regular earring made my earphones stay in even better when i first did it i tilted the earring and put the earphone in and it stayed great even better then before i got it it always falls out when i have a ring in it though so if you want a stud its good if you want a ring its not that great

No don't do it yourself, it's really thick and its so small and a very weird angle. It's hard enough for a profession piercer to do it. And no you can't put a regular ear ring in it because it's gaged but you can put a 16 gage stud in it.7
you don't screw the ball, you have to pop the ball out from between the pincers of the horse shoe shaped ring. it takes a little practice but it gets easier!
o.õ why don't people use piercing guns these days? it's not as painfull and it gets the job done. i got mine done with a piercing gun, let it heal and then put a piercing like the ones you use for the septum in it. it's really less painfull, you don't feel a thing.
It heals slower and it basically crushes the cartilage needles are better and guns aren't healthy for the sensitive cartilage and guns aren't santiry.
when you do piercing with a gun the hole himself is maked by the earing and thats making the hole bigger , plus the earing is closing to attached to the skin and it heals slowly ( its presses on the meat )

i got my tragus pierced at 14 and it didnt hurt at all.
the next morning i forgot i had it.
it doesnt hurt at all. haha

they use a gun for your lobes, but when they are in spots like that they can't use the gun, i really dont know why, i just know thats true, haha

NOOOOOOO DONT DO THIS! just save up and see a piercer, it's just so much better. more hygenic, a professional so better technique, better quality stuff etc. even if you did buy all the proper stuff off ebay it still won't be as good. it's just worth the money to not get stupid little hard bumps in your ear you get with an unskilled piercing - i pierced my own lobes a few times, and they were pretty good BUT they left scar tissue and it's weird

ahh, and I heard that if you pierce the wrong spot there you can hit a nerve that can make parts of your face go permanently numb :o

yes, i just did mine myself last night. but i have done a lot of other piercings, so if you don't know what you're doing. just get it done professional
and yes, you can use a regular stud, but they do have earrings made for tragus.

yeah, well i've had mine done for like 4 days now and it's still kind of sore but i can put headphones in my ears but since it's sore it's kind of difficult. but my girlfriend has had hers in for like 8 months and she can put headphones in.

i had a 20 guage (regular earring) when i first did my tragus but i streched it to 16" after it was healed the regular earring made my earphones stay in even better when i first did it i tilted the earring and put the earphone in and it stayed great even better then before i got it it always falls out when i have a ring in it though so if you want a stud its good if you want a ring its not that great

@mmoneyitswhereitsat if you know what youre doing and have proper sterilized equiptment including a HOLLOW needle, then yes, if not and youre gonna do something stupid like piercing it with a safety pin or sewing needle then no just save your money and get it done pro lol

No don't do it yourself, it's really thick and its so small and a very weird angle. It's hard enough for a profession piercer to do it. And no you can't put a regular ear ring in it because it's gaged but you can put a 16 gage stud in it.7

you don't screw the ball, you have to pop the ball out from between the pincers of the horse shoe shaped ring. it takes a little practice but it gets easier!

o.õ why don't people use piercing guns these days? it's not as painfull and it gets the job done. i got mine done with a piercing gun, let it heal and then put a piercing like the ones you use for the septum in it. it's really less painfull, you don't feel a thing.

It heals slower and it basically crushes the cartilage needles are better and guns aren't healthy for the sensitive cartilage and guns aren't santiry.

They don't use the piercing guns anymore because they take a lot longer to get sanitary, and you can't be guaranteed that they are sanitary.

when you do piercing with a gun the hole himself is maked by the earing and thats making the hole bigger , plus the earing is closing to attached to the skin and it heals slowly ( its presses on the meat )

I NEED to get mine dun there... is it easy to do a home piercing in the tragus anyone? I did my cartlide a few months ago and my upper lobe n didnt feel a thing... (i put ice on it though hehe)

if you get a labret earring like where the head phones go at the end of the labret earring it's a flat bottom sooo you can out in ear phones and stuff.

A HINT for better and fast healing use:
+ hydrogen peroxide solution (very useful)
+ alcohol more than 70%
+ any antibacterial cream
+ and some Qtips
+ get another person to see the infected area
PS: don't even think of getting ur piercing off if it hasn't healed or u'll lose the time and money spend on getting it DONE!
