Dude check out bands like August Burns Red, Texas In July, I the Breather, Blood of The Martyrs, and As I Lay Dying and notice how heavy they are but yet they have not only positive lyrics, but yet Christian lyrics as well!

Christian metal/Hard rock is so stigmatized and criticized in such a lame way. Christians can rock almost as hard as ANY secular group! One of the craziest concerts I have been to was a Project 86 show! What a better venue to provide a possitive, safe atmosphere for kids to let out pent up frustration and energy? Good music is good music - and people shouldn't dismiss Christian metal just because the band and the crowd loves Jesus!

To be honest, I think if everyone were to look and see truly what people within that Ministry are doing such as Mattie from For Today, they would be blown away to how many he is preaching/sharing the gospel with and even better speaking into them with love and the result they come to the acknowledgement of Jesus. My hobby is collecting Christian rock and metal. It's a very good explanation. When I was a newly converted metal head back in the day, I got criticized left and right for my music. This was from the church people. Heavy Metal has always been a maligned and misunderstood genre to begin with. Liking a certain type music, is nore more sinful than liking a different kind of food. I love sushi, and many others don't.
damn near the whole stay hungry album is anti-satan. If the song is not, then they are singing about partying and having a good time. Another band you didn't mention which it should be, is black sabbath... and ozzy. If you read their lyrics most of them are anti-satan and anti-war and very christrian... catholic actually to be exact... good video though.

God takes the sinner, changes his heart, then uses Him for His glory. the sinner had still sinned, so was wrong, but God had changed him for the good. so is everything on earth. it's not the actual act, but the motivation behind it is what's important. becoming the archetype, although playing a genre that was used against God, now glorify Him with it. it's not wrong, cuz the motivation is good.

You should listen to Megadeth. A great Thrash band. NOT ALL OF IT is good and wholesome for christians (especially the older stuff before the singer turned christian) but there's loads there to like and I think you would enjoy it.

I think there is such a thing as a destructive beat such as in 'soldiers under command' by stryper and 'we will rock you' by Queen. The rock beat of boom boom pop, boom boom bop is unsettling to our bodies. It's enjoyable to listen to, but so is taking heroine.
Relax people, sin is our own creation. It is simply concern for various laws which support group consciousness. These laws change with the zeitgeist e.g, nowadays we are much less racist than 100 yrs ago. But a belief that murder, dishonesty, theft etc is wrong has apparently evolved long ago because groups with this belief tend to survive to pass on their genes. There is a balance with selfishness as this can obviously help too, for people to survive by neglecting their group.

Ok, I have left you alot of comments on your video's, using reason and logic. Evil does not really exist as an outside force. Middle age monks cleared the forrests of Europe because evil spirits were thought to dwell there. People were burned alive, pressed to death and drowned for being possessed by evil spirits. All I have to say is that Slayer is not a satanic band. Now they have very anti-religious themes and lyrics but they are by no means satanic. And actually the lead sing is Christian I believe, even though Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman are atheist. This doesn't say they are satanic. I think that this was not a bad video but I do get decently annoyed when people call Slayer satanic just because they have a different view about religion. And its hard to worship Satan if you don't believe in him.

Those bands are not evil, actualy the song leper messiah is about the corruption of religion by those televangelists like benny hinn, pat robertson, kirk camoren and ray comfort. I dont take all metal lyrics to heart, I pay attiention to lyrics that are intelligent and make you question and think. Punk band Bad Religion is one of those bands that inspired my intellectualism! My hobby is collecting Christian rock and metal. It's a very good explanation. When I was a newly converted metal head back in the day, I got criticized left and right for my music. This was from the church people. Heavy Metal has always been a maligned and misunderstood genre to begin with. Liking a certain type music, is nore more sinful than liking a different kind of food. I love sushi, and many others don't.

Relax people, sin is our own creation. It is simply concern for various laws which support group consciousness. These laws change with the zeitgeist e.g, nowadays we are much less racist than 100 yrs ago. But a belief that murder, dishonesty, theft etc is wrong has apparently evolved long ago because groups with this belief tend to survive to pass on their genes. There is a balance with selfishness as this can obviously help too, for people to survive by neglecting their group.

All I have to say is that Slayer is not a satanic band. Now they have very anti-religious themes and lyrics but they are by no means satanic. And actually the lead sing is Christian I believe, even though Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman are atheist. This doesn't say they are satanic. I think that this was not a bad video but I do get decently annoyed when people call Slayer satanic just because they have a different view about religion.
