@MortalKombatTribute No it's not. The law covering the orange tips has to do with the commerce of airsoft sales. I.E by the law I shouldn't be able to buy a new airsoft gun with a black tip. You can't technically import airsoft guns without the orange tip ect. After I buy it and it's in the end user's posession they can do what ever they want. 

It's similar to the law reguarding the stupid tags on matresses. after you buy the matress you can remove the warning tag if you want.
