see the paper "Discovery of a canidate inner Oort cloud planetoid" by Michael E. Brown section 4.2 where it is hypothisized that Sedna was perturbed in to its orbit by a solar mass object moving perpendicular to the ecliptic of the solar system. Sorry mate you will be hearing a lot more about sedna from the planet X/ Nibiru crowd for the next century or at least till 2012.

im pretty sure that the people who thought sedna was a brown dwarf didnt know that a brown dwarf was a failed star and plus the original idea of nibiru or doomsday was most likely a joke but with the average amercan I Q of 40 u cant be suprised with how some amercans overeacted thinking it was real and told other mental retards around the world who willing believe anything they hear without compelling evidence

@Dominodude55 and the second reddest object in the sky. The discoverers feel that it was pulled in to its orbit by a passing sun. Its period would have brought around last during the end of the last ice age and supposed deluge dates.

I would not say its Nibiru but the thought has certainly crossed my mind and Sedna certainly has my attention.

@tmcdon4ld It definitely has the most erratic orbit, but I don't think it's the second reddest object in the sky, considering it comes as close to the sun as about twice the orbit of Pluto. Sedna will most likely never be seen be the naked eye.

Nibiru honestly doesn't exist, So I'm not sure why people keep saying it does. I'm not saying you have, I'm just annoyed is all. But yes, I wouldn't think Sedna is a threat if I were you, Just let the thought dissolve in your brain or something, lol.
