@MrKoL999 By the way, when you say there is no normal development tools on MAC or there is no NORMAL games on MAC your grammar is failing. Macs can run servers well with their Xeons. They work on Unix, and Linux which also works on Unix which is used to run a lot of servers.

well i have had this computer in 4 years and i have never got a virus, also if you have firewall + Microsoft security essentials that are free.. i haven't had any problems at all.. Macs are expensive and you can do the same on computers and more.. + the mac usually cost like 4 times the price... for same specs.. i own a dell for 4 years, also my father got his dell in 8-9 years now, laptop. and doing excellent. even with 70+ fps on starcraft 2 low. a 9 year computer!
My dad was one of those 'apple haters'... He was just kinda forced by me to buy a mac afte his PC crashed for the 4 time. After one week he is like 'i dont want windows stuff on my computer' and 'anti-virus? Buy a mac' kinda a proof that windows just sucks like hell
@SpeckyNation What you said is not true, the reason people return cameras is not because they are not compatible. Almost every camera on the market is compatible without installing any software or drivers. The reason they return it is because the file format the camera creates is not playable by QuickTime player. I'm not trying to say macs are better, I'm just correcting your argument.

@Xboxdominates People have their own opinion, Macs are advertised for the general consumer market, as in, those people who use the computer for internet browsing, checking email, making movies, etc. So they would not be needing to upgrade their computer, or the customize the hardware in any way. However PC's are advertised for everyone ranging from the consumer market to the enterprise market, So they would have to be customizable to appeal to the target market.

Ok, once they got into the second part and they used a camera as an example, no no, and hell no. I sell cameras for a living. Number 1 issue, number 1 reason for returns, It's incompatible with their Mac. Especially Camcorders. Sure they mostly work with Final Cut Pro, but not everyone has that kind of money/is willing to invest. False Advertising!

The service they received was poor that they were not properly informed about how to use the product ;) If you can't teach them how to use an SD card slot (Which is a standard) than there is a problem at your end. @mpiikge The ad described the desktop experience. Obviously with iMAC all one PC success its something to note that all you have to do is plug it in. Every Windows machine is never ready to use. Windows will always have necessary driver installation and of course the most annoying thing is when Windows decides to calculate a score of the system before start up for the first time. Uhm...pretty sure Macs struggle at talking to Canon printers. My teacher had that problem, asked for my help. I had it hooked up to my PC in less than a minute, printing. His Mac couldn't do that.

I laugh at this but really windows 7 is way more customization and there is always the webstore for apps! not to mention all the games you can play! it's easier and faster to get the job done and do some actual work while have fun with the media center! @TheRaylance not in gaming. No matter what registry tweak ( in wine latest version as of this past week) no matter what way i tried to install it. Couldn't get sc2 to run above all lowest eye candy settings and still got at best with virtually no real fighting goin on on most maps. 20 fps ( gtx 580, 3.2ghz 6 core cpu, and yes I tried the experiment 3d drivers=massive fail, properly installed the 280 Linux drivers ( tried ubuntu 11.04 and 10.04 lts). it's free and fast..but not ready for gaming
I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Ubuntu 11.04. I can play all of my games with no problem with WINE and I am just as less prone to malicious programs as a mac user.
by the way I use the term upgraded because 11.04 > windows 7.

@MoreBoingPlox I think [if I recall correctly] is that Macs are made out to be the 'super' computer that never die or get virius and when they do its like 'oh this doesn't happen that often' but it dose. PCs have just been around for a wee bit longer meaning people are used to them, also given that a lot more folks have PCs than Macs then it is more known about PC virius. I think apple products are brilliant, though I can't comment on the customore service. I don't know it.

I think Bill Gates is cool, and I don't know much about Jobs...but...wouldn't that be because the first time I ever began to understood computers and their total capability to change the world was on a windows system?? and that thanks to Gates and not to Jobs, whose computers had been a few years before in the market...but ...only for a "selected" group of customers I think...and I am saying this as my personal experience as a computer user independently of either liking Gates or Jobs

I love that MAC spent millions of dollars on these ads, declaring that Microsoft was a P.C.. Not IBM, not Novell, Not Linux...Microsoft.

I mean it has a lack of hardware options, inability to upgrade very much, less compatibility with software, difficult to uninstall bloatware (iLife for example), less secure, more expensive for under-quality parts, a 12 year old OS, the list just goes on and on

Uhm...pretty sure Macs struggle at talking to Canon printers. My teacher had that problem, asked for my help. I had it hooked up to my PC in less than a minute, printing. His Mac couldn't do that.

@yourface688 Well what about me? I can afford one, the system i'm running cost more than the 21" iMac, but after using a macbook for 9 months (not really by choice) i was absolutely done with it. And since so little people use Mac, that's also an incentive for software devs to not support Apple products. And FYI, there are viruses for Mac, and with the lack of security features, when you run into one, it's gonna hurt pretty bad.

I laugh at this but really windows 7 is way more customization and there is always the webstore for apps! not to mention all the games you can play! it's easier and faster to get the job done and do some actual work while have fun with the media center! Google runs it's best on windows and even viruses aren't important because of the anti viruses and... . Most importantly when windows crashes it's easy to fix it but when mac crashes you've got a serious problem...! thumbs up if you agree!

@TheRaylance not in gaming. No matter what registry tweak ( in wine latest version as of this past week) no matter what way i tried to install it. Couldn't get sc2 to run above all lowest eye candy settings and still got at best with virtually no real fighting goin on on most maps. 20 fps ( gtx 580, 3.2ghz 6 core cpu, and yes I tried the experiment 3d drivers=massive fail, properly installed the 280 Linux drivers ( tried ubuntu 11.04 and 10.04 lts). it's free and fast..but not ready for gaming

I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Ubuntu 11.04. I can play all of my games with no problem with WINE and I am just as less prone to malicious programs as a mac user.
by the way I use the term upgraded because 11.04 > windows 7.

pc's freedom of choice = Not commies
What I'm saying, is that you can do so much with a pc that you cant do with a mac, for example, customizing it, you can pick out the parts that fit YOUR style of computing, and that it can run windows and linux, is just wonderful, no matter how much apple brag about how easy their stuff is, in my opinion, the PC will allways be the best and most free choice.
