My favorite part of this is once they finish Ledbetter and they're through the vocals. Mike and the band launch into Hendrix... and Eddie wanders around the stage puttering around a bit, looking like a confused roadie. :)

grundle111, it's well known that "Little Wing" was written by Jimi about his experiences at the Monterey Pop Festival. Besides, the imagery used is obviously too psychedelic and Dylanesque to have been written before 1967. Hendrix did not rip anyone off.

I was at this show. Hell, those may be my hands! They opened with Wash and didn't let up until Ledbetter. Not bad considering it was 116F at midday. Two 16oz. beers and my wife almost dropped! We'll Seeing as how he was voted the greatest guitarist alive after Jimi Hendrix died and after Jimmy Page relinquished the crown after years of drug binges, I would say he is the closest thing to Hendrix this generation will ever hear live. Pretty good stuff, but I get annoyed when I see guitarists with their backs to the audience, doing their own thing, or when the band carries on their own conversation while on stage. It's not a soundcheck, make it look like you care, or that you're even interested in what's happening.
