  • OiL war !

  • Iraqi Blood is running in American cars

  • ---if this was true then why am i still paying 4 bucks a gallon? and think about how big the federal government is and how can they keep a secret this big even thought they can't even run a cash-for-clunkers effectively?-do you actually believe that Bush a multimillionaire and Rove who, think about this, gets paid thousands upon thousands of dollars for opening and letting words-err-speaking at Republican conventions--you think they're are moaning about 4 penny increase on regular unleaded?

  • Sorry to rain on everyones optimism, but free/renewable energy just isnt feasible in a capitalistic society. And America, your the big dog behind the chain-link fence. You use 3x more oil than any other country. You are COMPLETELY to blame for the destabilisation of the middle east.

What needs to happen is a major paradigm shift away from capitalism to a new type of government, in which money and power are no longer the driving force of a nation.

  • america is great, many americans are great but its government is not

  • Enjoy life with a thick money pocket in Taxas after eight years in business " Blood for oil."

  • using oil as an economic weapon!? SO what!!?? that is there OIL!!!! what gives us or anyone the right to go in and take it!!! oh wait the british have been doing it, the french, the italians, hmmmm . history keeps repeating itself. Power has already started to shift, and WE the people know what the deal is!

  • you people have just destroy what this people has build for century crazy Americans , you did help them to do nothing , America is so wicked

  • @christinaandzack oil doesn't do damage to living things when it is locked away in the ground. oil is encapsulated in the crust of the earth, and rarely does it just come out on its own. oil cant harm rocks, but when it is exposed to living organisms is when it becomes a problem. living organisms cant be around this stuff because its toxic and sticky. it clogs their mouths and breathing systems.

  • it wil get more nasty if they dont stop whit killing peaple for oil!! you all will pay for this 1 day !

  • bush is a big tread.

america it is true. doesn,t matter u accept it or not.

  • reminds me of Manuel Antonio Noriega

  • If we spent half of the money we've spent on the wars in the Middle East on alternative energy, we wouldn't have needed to invade in the first place.

  • @PseudoSenator too bad half the american government is on the payroll of the oil companies ^^

  • @theMaxyy Less than half, but the problem is real :(

  • @PseudoSenator LOL.

  • research the imf and the world bank. i mean really research go deep into the rabbit hole. the war in the middle east was more than just needing some oil.

  • @allmenofgods ... can you please pm me the links you researched ?? i know some things regarding this subject

  • Petroleum products are like drugs....

    gotta have em...heh...heh

    JD

  • At 1:42 Bush points to himself

  • I'm having trouble thinking of anything else that's worth spending blood on. Sure as hell not buying gold with blood, you can't use gold for anything. We've got rubber, we've got land, we've got metal, no, oil is basically all we need right now. So spend away, just keep the exchange rate good.

  • The term is petroleum, not gasoline. The public thinks the addiction is to the gas to run their cars, but it is also the asphalt the cars drive on, and the plastics that half the car is made of. The part of petroleum not turned into gas, is the basis of hundreds of industries. America's economy runs on heavy crude.

Just like the 47% of the cow not eaten by humans, is the raw material for hundreds of industries. Millions of cows aren't fattened and slaughtered just for burgers.

  • boy man this is amazing

  • I am sorry people but everyone is addicted to dihydrogen monoxide. I mean shit you can't go for days w/o it and if you have too much of it it could kill you. You dont even know it, but right now ppl in the world are users; your wife, ur doctor, ur lawyer, ur teacher, even ur kids and parents are users.... YES WE CAN overcome our addiction to dihydrogen monoxide! CHANGE IS COMING!

  • And it is all about everything, power, oil and all kind of business. And the Globe is spinning too fast now. We have to slow down to be able to survive. Survival of the Species has begun

  • totally agree

  • It is all about how to prevent nuclear disaster. It is a World War III wiping out people slowly. I hope we use robber bullets not to kill. It is all about to save the Globe. Don't be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Wars are always existed and will be exist until the end of the life in Earth. It is all about how to clean nuks from falling into wrong hands. Every country owns it now.

  • i just typed in blood for oil and lots of stuff came up, this is all so horrible see oil allowed the world overpopulate especially in areas of the world where people cannot live without oil (cold climates) so when the oil runs out millions will be in turmiol and have to move to warmer climates where they can live off the land and not by driving to the grocery store, everybody drives so much and its just plain sick, the whole educational system in this country brings kids up to be dependentonit

  • saadaam was selling his oil in europe and usa needs enough oil so they had buy it back from europe so it was making the dollar drop which caused bush to invade iraq so they stole their oil.

  • Frozansafi, Do you have evidence of this? I would like to see it. I do not mean this in a malcious way.

  • Invade just for that? Or because America faces a serious decline with no quick alternative?

  • There are no alternatives.

    Oil is used for everything.

  • Yes there is alternatives, don't be ignorant.

  • No there are no alternatives that can replace oil quickly, they are oil. Remember I'm sure you do.

Who's been in a hydrogen car in a test crash no one. No hydrogen lorry even exists to move food to a super market.

  • Who said quickly? The changeover can happen within 15 years, that's 90% of all oil consumption and use GONE! And who the hell said anything about hydrogen? Hydrogen is a bullshit energy to bilk more money out of us. Hydrogen should be used commercially like for trains, buses and semis. Not for normal civilian use. We could have 95% of the nations drivers using EV's in 10 years, this could of been accomplished sooner if GM and our own government wouldn't have killed the idea back in 2000.

  • This issue is HUGE and would be impossible to debate in a comments forum.

  • It would take many decades. Its not the oil running out that is the problem, its the cheap oil and its extraction costs.

Buy the Lastoilshock book by David Strahan, BBC journalist. Lets see what you really you know.

Or buy "The Party's over", The Party's Over: Oil, War and the Fate of Industrial Societies by your fellow American citizen Richard Heinberg

No one in America wants to change with pain, they want an easy going change that just doesn't exist.

  • I read the book "Blood and Oil" by Dr. Klare. If you get a chance to, by all means read it.

  • I had an opportunity to watch this movie at my University. It was very imformative and mind blowing. It is very well chronologically organized and trying to reveal the truth of why we are where we are now. After the movie, we had interesting discussions for about 30 minutes. If you haven'y seen this movie, you really should, then tell your opinion. We can always investigate wheather or not what it's told in this movie is true.

  • I love the facts these video's have and they are positive.

  • THANK YOU

  • Bush? Do something? Anything? About what?

  • I love beans

  • and the drug addiction??

  • To you NeoCon "Christian" posters. Read of the principal tribe of Persian Hegemony being restored. It is Elam. G-d said he would set his throne in Elam. Jeremiah 50:38-39. Not in false Israel of the AIPAC, bankster, gangster, tribes of the polluted. Iran will win the final round. The Masonic/Skull and Bones/OTO/Scroll and Key, etc. brotherhoods of the Whore, are finished. Go ahead. Attack Iran, punkster chimp.Your high flying crafts will be brought down.Your troops in Iraq and Gulf Fleet.Adios.

  • oooohhhh yes he was!!

  • he was a kiddy fiddler too don't forget

  • bush own oil company

  • Oil ought to be classified as a drug like caffeine, alcohol or tobacco then we'd see just how addicted to crude we really are.

  • abraxas365 I agree with you! Solar energy works and it is better for nature!

  • We go nuclear for 20 or 30 years, let solar panels upgrade their efficiency from their current 17%, and then we start powering our homes on LIGHT!

But you think Saudi Arabia, Kuwait or Venezuala is gonna let us do this?

They're to blame just as much as our leaders.

  • our leaders can easily do just that, but they wont. they'd rather give oil companies tax breaks and not share their fair amount than let us switch to alternative sources of energy. the politicians wont let that happen because sa, kuwait, and venezuala are lining their pockets with cash.

  • Our streets should run with blood and our government should fall for the criminality and thievery that exists within its halls of betrayal. We are led by predators who live from lie to lie and mass grave to mass grave. They speak of the Christ out of mouths that smell of the sulphurs of hell. We are just as slimey as we go to our stupid dwindling jobs. Our personal damage is just not as encompassing and massive as our "leaders" are. The U.S., is multi-level compartment of deceptions. DeathZones.

  • The only reason 'your leaders' don´t do that is they don't want to stop money from coming into oil companies (i.e. their own) pockets. If S.A., Kuwait or Venezuela had a problem with it, do you think the EU or the USA would give a rat's ass?

  • Yeah, because if our oil companies fall, then our tobacco companies fall, our plastic companies fall, our last remaining steel companies fall, along with half of the little production that we have left in the U.S. We are fucked, as is most of the Western Civilization.

Oil has the human race in a grip that CANT be broken...you think solar power, wind energy, Hydrogen, electricity, and water is going to fix our problem? what about 18-wheelers, space shuttles, military vehicles...EVERYTHING.

  • Bush is not smart

  • The US has less than 2% of the worlds oil within it's borders, yet it is the worlds greatest oil consumer, the resulting foreign policy is obvious. This problem with continue as long as an elite of plutocrats, empowered by the massive profits from oil, maintain exclusive control over the political spectrum. This has produced a reactionary system, where any move away from hydrocarbons is avoided because it will destroy the business model of companies like Exxon/Shell/Haliburton etc

  • The 'war on terror' is a replacement for the cold war paradigm. During the cold war paradigm the idea of an absolute evil enemy was used in order to help the US secure open markets and an hegemony of control over South America. The war on terror is the same mechanism, only this time the enemy is (by no coincidence) the people who live in the area of the world which contains 60% of global oil reserves.

  • man if could get all the machines to run on sunlight, vegetables, alcohol, hydrogen and shit like that we could get up out the middle east, and stop fucking up the earth, that simple. I don't know why the gov't doesn't see this, and starts to really pour money into alternative energy.

  • agreed. if Denmark can do it, why can't we? we have the resources, but we are too mired in corporate interests...

  • Alternative energy Is on its way buddy. But it will take about 20 to even 30 more years before it is here.

There is a new study on solar panels, you take the energy of the sun. Make water and split the atoms. While the atoms are at pure state, before coming back into contact with the other, the other atom goes into a cycle producing electricity.

  • Therefore having the byproduct as water again. The pure water will than be broken down and reused again and again till evaporation occurs. Than the sun comes into play and there goes the whole cycle again. It was on KQET last night. Quite crazy 0_0

  • ran on vegetables? that's great, we'd have energy but couldnt afford to eat! even if all farmland in the us was used to grow corn for ethanol, that'd only make about 13% of our energy needs

  • i dont think the government doesnt really care about our interest, it's more interested in the bank system.

  • lets hope that ron WILL shine light and unlock the new cars that can use water for fuel. and start using other fuels NOW!

  • You mean fuel cell cars?

  • pretty much. and other things cuz that is only 1percent of the human issue.

  • Cool, but just to be clear, fuel cells are not a new source of energy but more like a battery. They are still only as clean as the energy used to create them. We would need a clean renewable source of energy like solar, geo-thermal, wind, hydro, nuclear, etc to create the fuel cells.

I think concepts like bio-fuels will be a far more cost-effective, clean, and renewable way to approach powering our vehicles. Switchgrass has some amazing returns on energy.

  • i know that is what i am taking about. i makes a hell of a lot more sence! and logic! it may not be perfec put it is better than killing people for oil! so ron paul for 2008! ron paul 2008 for president!

  • but sold by who? who's getting rich? how can it be stopped? new policy reform. Ron Paul

From that canadian who can't vote

  • SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER.

  • Oil has always been a political football, just watching this trailer reminds us of this fact.We need more hybrid cars but Detroit is slow on getting these manufacturered.

  • Blood for Oil! Yes! I support trading American lives for barrels of oil. Does anyone here agree with me?

If its true that I traded my active participation in politics (voting) for a passive participation in politics (material consumption or dollar voting) then one can argue that every time I fill my gas tank I am consenting for the continued occupation of Iraq and supervision of its oil reserves.

  • well at least you are honest unlike the cunts in the white house and downing street.

  • I'm addicted to cookies

  • when and where was the greenspan interview from, that must have been very recent?

  • Read BBC reporter, Greg Palast's book Armed Madhouse. The war in Iraq is all about keeping oil in the ground, thereby, keeping the prices artificially high.

  • Greg Palast is in "left field" on Oil Subject....

Sorry, I think he is way of course. He is totally ignoring all historical regional peaking!

  • The likes of Palast can't see Global Peaking as a time-series of regional peaks. Nor do they seem to grasp the geologic reality that new discoveries have been in decline for 40 years, while Oil Demand has grown relentlessly. Big Oil producers have had 50 yrs to figure out "hey, let's feign an oil shortage"...and they are just coming to that understanding now? I don't think so, Peak Oil is real!

  • And we have only seen the start of it. Up till now there has been enough oil to cover the demand of everyone. Imagine the conflicts when there isn't enough oil to go around, that's when it's going to get real nasty.
