Actually some police men were really hurt.The protesters were armed. The police only interfered after having exhausted all chance of dialogue. My friend was passing there a few minutes b4 the attack and he saw the protesters actually running wildly on the main street taunting people in cars who are just minding their own business. He said that they were taunting and provoking the police,shouting and swearing at them, they were not sleeping at all.

3 of the protesters died and 2 bahrain police men . there was a bus of bahrain women police sent to take the women and children home warnings were given there was an ultimatum of 24 hours for them 2 move of the landmark they vandalized. they were armed with guns and knives this is not peaceful protest they cud have left after the warning and planned peacefull protests.

@TheMakknife Attacks were already made before this attack took place, from a minority of the protesters. The police announced that they would leave or they'll "use force". Some left, most didn't want to leave just out of threats - some left to attack. The police in which were right outside the roundabout. Up to 10+ men severely wounded with knives, swords - and you may google this. Later, the tear gases were dropped - as for the clash, no protester was wounded, nor killed.
