For me personally...It doesn't have any negative aspects. Sure I wish the software had more advanced sample editing features like truncate and cropping but that's very minor and I'm sure Native Instruments can add that in a future update. But overall, I'm very pleased with my Maschine. The software is very powerful but easy to use and I really like the feel of the pads. Trust me...you won't be disappointed when you buy one. awesome tool, but midi in sync from an mpc or other is not stable yet - if you want to slave it when playing live. a few otehr minor bugs, coz its the early version. but this is awesome, and if they ectend the software version, it can be an intuitive mpc - ableton live combo in a box.
