The PILOTS are GOOD not because they are FILIPINO'S but because they are trained well! Check Jet Blue, they did the same with a far worse condition than this. It was in 1994 , when Philippine Airline flight 434 has been bombed by a Pakistani terrorist during its flight to Japan, Captain Eduardo Reyes landed the plane safely and saving 292 lives with only 1 fatality, the pilot n co-pilots did a great job and also its flight attendants for not letting passengers panic. I salute Filipino pilots! The World's Finest pilots!

I grew up around many PAL pilots myself and it's not an exaggeration that many were the finest pilots in their time who went on to fly safely for other airlines in the world and are now happily retired and back in the Philippines.

@filipino0614 that is true,me and my wife fly regularly to the Philippines from europe with different airlines,but our best memories and flight was 1997 with PAL. (airbus A 340),the pilots were very skilled,very smooth landings.

The worst are the pilots of Cathay pacific,they suck, always a rude and bumpy landing.
