I got my very first Spelunky win last night. It was on my 619th try. So thank you, Brickroad. Watching your first few videos of this inspired me to download it and give it a try.

Hearing you talk about winning Spelunky a "couple hundred" plays in makes me sad. You have more Spelunky skills than I do. I'm closing in on 800 plays and still no win.

Correction: You lose 4 lives. You might even live through that (if the knockback and the stun plus the next shot of the shopkeeper didn't kill you).
