  • yikes, can you imagine that coming out your bathroom--terrorfying!!

  • It looks really good, and I'd imagine it took time. Though as it's been said [many times] before, you can't beat black and white.

  • I really, really REALLY hate colorization, but I must admit, they did a pretty good job. That said, they shouldn't have done it.

  • These movies should remain in black and white.

  • LOL

  • BOO!!!!

  • Happy Halloween!!!!

  • That was great! Wish there was more! lol

  • @Sawlon FTW

  • Hey! Its the president of Iran!!

  • @trevinboy No, It's Lon Chaney, Jr.

  • It's really hard to believe that this is actually colorized and not just shot in color. Thats just amazing work there! just wow...

  • @DGMRuadeil Yeah

  • He's so cute!

  • @DrowningArt94 MMM HMM

  • Man! That is some amazing costume work right there! *plays over and over just to see the makeup job*

  • What the hell? These movies look so much creepier in Black and White, and this looks really unconvincing compared to the originals. They're fine as they are. If you're bored, it's not because they're in B&W, it's because you're not paying attention.

  • If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!!!

  • To all who think that there should be no colorization of old films...DON'T WATCH THEM. Continue to watch in B/W. Not a big deal.

  • this snippet is from "ABBOTT AND COSTELLO" MEET FRANKENSTEIN..

  • @801liveable Thanks

  • Great quality colourisation on the Werewolf clip. I am looking to colourising some black & white footage myself and am looking around for the best software for the job. What is it you use? Adobe Photoshop? Which version please?

  • Wow!This Looks Great!!!! You know this is how they could breath Life back into the Original Universal Monster movies is by Doing them in Color and re-releaseing them on DVD! I'd buy a Copy of them in Color in a Heart Beat!!!The Three Stooges a Few of them Where redone in Color it looked like they where just filmed Yesterday They Looked Awesome!and so would the Universal Monsters!

  • Ooooh. :)

  • OH MY GOD.

When I was little he fucked my life up but I keep pressing play over and over and pissing myself laughing.

  • He disembowels you and then starts munching away. A sickening beast. He likes to decapitate people and eat the stuff that falls out of the neck hole. And he has fleas.

  • You know I grew up watching all these iconic universal monster movies in B & W. Originally I said no, do not colorize them. But I have to admit, now that the technology is great. These old B & W's colorized correctly look beautiful.

  • How much for you to colorize the movie Clerks?

  • theres a 2010 version of the wolfman

  • @GV228 Do not speak of that BLASPHEMY!!! Do NOT speak of that blasphemy!

  • @JRHLoL what?

  • @GV228 The Wolfman (2010) It's nothing compared to The Wolf Man. Especially with the cgi werewolf. Why can't movies use make-up and costumes anymore? It looks much better than cgi.

  • @JRHLoL i know right, just to let you know im not a fan of the newest wolfman movie im a original perosn. i just wanted to say that there was a wolfman movie. PS next time say dont talk about wolfman 2010 verson instead of say, Do not speak of that BLASPHEMY!!!

  • @GV228 Yeah, it just really bugs me that everything is cgi today. I'm about to see Rise of Planet of the Apes. I hope it's good enough to forget about the cgi.

  • GSAP! COLOR!

  • Horror novel see video book trailer

  • GREAT JOB

  • bad,bad,bad,bad!!!

  • @TheRASPUZIO

Is that good bad, or bad bad?

  • Awesome.

  • Hey Kerry can you do more of this film love to see it !

  • Beatiful !

  • 'Scary.'

  • has abbott and costello meet frankenstein ever been released in colour?? please reply, this is one the best movies ever made

  • @777irishboy no, only the trailer has been done in colour. Would be great if they completed the film in color tho... hmm

  • warrrrrwwwrrr haha

  • These old movies and the actors in these parts are why I like to do artwork and special effects make-ups. Long Live UNIVERSAL STUDIOS !!!!

  • @redwing46901 but doesnt this appliance look a little.....stupid?the nose, eyebrows, lips and forehead where all one piece, when before they were all separate. i mean this was after they fired jack pierce. the original appliance they had in the first one was great but since they didnt want to spend 5-8 hours on makeup the fired pierce and hired his assistant who did the work in half the time. but the quality declined.....

  • the fur looks like shit

  • Chew baka in color.

  • a great actor ,shakespearian great we miss u lon cheney

  • He's quite handsome, actually, just a bit hairy. :P

  • LON RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • As in Kerry Gammil the comics artist? If so, wow, I love your work! Very nice colorization job here, as well. Very lifelike; it's the mix of hues that sells it, rather than the flat, generic pastel of most colorizing jobs.

  • He looks like a puppy

  • @skinwalkerxxx One damn ugly puppy

  • @EcakCake2 he also look like a seasam street puppet.

  • The makeup on the wolfman in that film always looked different from the original wolfman movies.

  • @markantonymcwhorter -You're right, I also thought that too. I've read that the difference was that Jack Pierce the make up artist, who created the original make up- had been let go by the studio (believe it or not)- and the new make up artists used more rubber pieces that could be applied more quickly and thus , could speed up the process. He definitely looks diffferent.

  • Wow! That's looks great in color.

  • I think that the films should always be available in the original B/W versions because the movie makers lit the sets and created everything from costumes to make-up in order to have a certain look in the B/W presentation. It was their original concept of the film, however, I am also a fan of colorization-I think it has made a great companion piece to the originals- Its' all good as long as its' done well. This colorization here is great! Thank you.

  • show the whole fukin movie in color

  • This is great. I would love to see a colorized Wolfman movie like this. You did a great job. He's even scarier.

  • Very nice! You did a great job..excellent shade of brown for the fur..slightly darker around the nose and eyes..Great!

  • dude the new wolfman is awesome you should all see it!!!!!!!!!

  • You should think of colorizing a full movie like Frankenstein (the original)

  • Hahaha! He looks like a dufus.

  • Nah....the old Universal monster movies are better in black and white.

  • Why can't those films be shown on tv these days, i'm 13 years of age. Movies these days are rubbish and i would love to see this especially in colour. And not just on sky movies!

  • you're completley right dude!!!

  • lmao, i'm a girl ;].

  • haha, lols omg, my bad, sorry!!!

  • So is this movie available in color on dvd, or just black and white? I like the 5 seconds of the Wolfman, but would love too see the whole movie, or even the original 1941 Wolfman movie colorized. Hell, i'd like too see all the classic Universal monsters colorized. Nice work,

  • Cool!

  • Why can't the major studios do colorization this good? Excellent quality.

  • hmmm. i always pictured the wolfman to be a really super dark brown

  • This is awesome! lol

Didn't they come out with a technicolor version of Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein??????

  • A werewolf you dumb ass

  • I was being overly brief, but after Jack Pierce created the original makeup, I personally lean toward the Bud Westmore recreation of it. Somehow it is more frightening. It seams darker, and the mouth area is scarier. I would have to compare them side by side. There was a funny critique of the Pierce makeup by Carlos Clarens in History of the Horror Film- like it was an odd creation that didn't really resemble a wolf. The Jack Pierce reputation is secure after creating many great characters.

  • I think the reason he did that was because he knew it'd look faker if it was an all out wolf's head. He wanted to give it wolf and human characteristics and allow Chaney to give expression to it and that I think makes it great. Main problem I have with this is that I think there's a bit too much hair and the nose is more wide.Though both are great I say Pierce manages to better it a bit from comparing their photos on imdb.

  • This is from Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein, where the wolfman makeup and music were better.

  • I kinda disagree there. Once make-up became more advanced and Pierce continued the older kind the studio fired him and it's reall sad they did. I think the make-up is still good here, but though the original Wolfman was harder and took longer to create, the overall effect was astounding. This still is, but I'd say Pierce was one if not THE best make-up men in the world. And nothing is more classic than the original Wolfman theme. But I still like the make-up and music and love the movie though.

  • that looks cool as shit

  • Great ide like to see lugosi dracula in color

  • This looked great! I would pay to have a colorized version

  • my dad told me that he used to wrestle on the bed with his sister he was frankenstine and she was wolfman kinda sounds like fun too bad i dont have a brother :(

  • Pretty Good! I knew Chaney was covered in Yak hair and it looked somewhat like I thought it might. I agree, I would like to see the entire film in color.

  • Fantastic color job - wonder if the entire U catalogue will eventually get a CMYK enhancement - if so, you'd be the man to do it!!!

  • Damn, He Looks Even Better! I'd Love To See Any Of The Wolfman Movies In Color. :(

  • It looks colorized.

  • it's beter in black an whight it's more dream like an sureal an spooky in color i's just silly
