@Johnnytotal youtube scans its video with bots to make sure no copyrighted material is uploaded. these bots take a "mask" mostly provided by the rightful owner of the material (in this case the BBC). This mask is basically just the oringinal footage, or some outtakes of it. As soons as the youtube bots find a video uploaded to youtube, matching this mask, it is deleted, or atleast deactivated until further inspection. Hope that helped...
