you see all the boy bands that are debuting now? they are all trying to top what DBSK was back then. its sad that they had to endure SO MUCH to only be forgotten about and ridiculed by new, ignorant fans. they truly are GODS RISING FROM THE EAST! and they STILL ARE. i think every new kpop fan should take a look back into the past of what kpop was and have more appreciation for it.

it made me really sad and happy when yunho and changming sang rising sun on music bank. At first i thought all 5 of the member's voices would be in it but it was only yunho and changmin. the song was great but it felt different and empty.
No other group can compare with DBSK. Sure, I love the groups nowadays, but DBSK are one of a kind. Key may be my bias, but Junsu & DBSK shall always have a part of my heart. Always keep the faith.

Every one of their song I've heard so far is great! Changmin's the maknae but he's so awesome! His scream, his voice, his dance, his looks ... seriously one of the most talented maknae i've seen!

SM has exploited changmin's voice to the maximum extent!! Right from Rising sun to Mirotic and now in Keep your head down. Poor guy! i hope he dosent loose his voice screaming like that!
Actually his vocal position in TVXQ is top tenor so singing high is where he is most comfortable. It's when he tries to sing low that he gets unstable.
@pammiej85 i agree with you. Other than more stable in high pitch, his expression in live performance is the thing that i got easily. I comment in another video that his expression is so much more calm when he sing high note, but he seems like trying so hard when he sings low note. If you had watched TSC in tokyo dome, you will know what i mean. Its just my perception though. But I'm so happy when his low note became so much better in The Secret Code album. I love his voice very much =)
I know what you mean. Max recently said he still has a long way to go when it comes to stabilizing his vocals while singing low. But I think the new songs like Before U Go show his vast improvement. In my eyes he has always been one of the top singers in TVXQ. I hope to continue to watch him grow as a singer. What I like and respect about TVXQ is they are already very good vocalists but never stop getting better.

I don't know how to explain it with no offense, SM wants to make harmony in tvxq song, but they only keep 2 members. The effect is, in the recording songs, changmin sing 2 different note at the same time so he must lypsinc 1 of them when live. I am scared that it will made a bad perception about him when people don't know.

It is nearly impossible and Yunho says that he isn't happy with their performances so far. He's too much of an perfectionist. I hope people don't think badly of them because they try very hard to preserve the TVXQ name. But I feel that both are incomplete groups. All that we can do is support them the best we can.
@pammiej85 Both CM-YH and JJ-JS-YC are incomplete. The vocal gap between bass and top tenor is not so short. And JJ-JS-YC can't have a superb high pitch in their songs. if you're wondering why Jaejoong's wearing a mask in all of the dancing sequences......he injured his leg at that time. in one of their live performances, i think Yunho had to help him cause Jaejoong was on crutches :(

@micshia1306 I just noticed that he was wearing a mask! I knew that he injured his leg, but I didn't know you couldn't see him during the dancing sequence. So if he injured his leg, wouldn't the masked person be a back-up dancer?(which is why that person has a mask on?)
sometimes it feels that this band only has 3 members: Hero, Xiah and Max. I approve their voices. I think Xiah has one of the best male artists voice. Either way I really like this song.
Im not really a DBSK fan, but I will say this : They have one of the most amazing, godly voices I have ever heard. Its too bad they were with SM, and were treated unfairly.

...Watching this makes me wonder what's happened to K-Pop. Before, it was about being friends with other bands/labels and pleasing fans. Now it's all about who's shagging who, who's caused scandals and who can release 1000000 songs in one year. We should be back to times like Balloons and cutesy, not heavy, almost heady bass lines and sex appeal. Music is music, not a chance to show that you have amazing abs or amazing moves.

@charlenehjl they haven't split up yet. they're officially on hiatus. last year in july three of the members sued their label because of their slave contract. they didn't want to leave SM but change the length and distribution of money (15-year contract, 1-5% of earnings, worked 20 hours a day, only a week of rest a year). because of SM's actions during the lawsuit, their relationship with SM was destroyed and they knew they could never go back. they finally stopped group activities in april.
@charlenehjl it is still unknown as to why yunho and max are staying with SM. homin have released statements saying they side with SM, but the authenticity is questionable. since JYJ won their lawsuit to some extent, they're free to do other activities. if you want additional information on the wrongdoings of SM, go to

it's really a pity that DBSK split up. But I've always wonder at the reason... can anyone enlighten me?

@charlenehjl they haven't split up yet. they're officially on hiatus. last year in july three of the members sued their label because of their slave contract. they didn't want to leave SM but change the length and distribution of money (15-year contract, 1-5% of earnings, worked 20 hours a day, only a week of rest a year). because of SM's actions during the lawsuit, their relationship with SM was destroyed and they knew they could never go back. they finally stopped group activities in april.

@charlenehjl it is still unknown as to why yunho and max are staying with SM. homin have released statements saying they side with SM, but the authenticity is questionable. since JYJ won their lawsuit to some extent, they're free to do other activities. if you want additional information on the wrongdoings of SM, go to

SM is only an agency. The singers are the ones with the talent.
There are many groups that signed with SM and have not been successful bc it's up to the singers to work hard and make themselves popular.
Cass supports DBSK not SM.
The members could've and have signed with another agency.
SM didn't give birth to the members did they?
