Obama is not a natural born citizen because his father was not a citizen of the USA. To be natural born, both parents must be citizens. If he was born in Hawaii, which he refuses to prove, that would only make him a citizen, not a natural born citizen.

the truth is..Berg v Obama and the Hollister case, Perkins Coie. Very little work was done in the lower court in the Hollister case and the lower court Berg case. They are now both on appeal, and at least one brief will have to be filed in those cases. If they are successful on appeal, and are awarded costs AND fees, we'll know how much was spent, but the millions of dollars claimed for private representation is ludicrous, based on the work done in these 2 cases Obama hasnt paid anything.

Your interpretation of citizenship law is completely contradicted by 8 U.S.C. 1401. Anybody born on US soil is a citizen from birth. According to several court rulings, anybody born on US soil is a natural born citizen. Citizen from birth, native citizen and natural born citizen are all synonymous.

Wong said that it's been the tradition of British common law that anybody born on their soil was a British subject, and the same tradition, natural born citizen, carried over here under the Constitution. They also said that subject and citizen were functional equivalents.
Ankeny explicitly declared that anybody born on US soil is a natural born citizen. Perhaps you should reread that case.

Long form birth certificates are not necessary to prove citizenship. The birth certificate Obama published on the web is sufficient proof of birth for the state and federal government for all purposes.
We the people elected the government to pass laws on our behalf. Their laws on citizenship have defined the contours of what is and is not sufficient identification.

Second a number of people in the digital field opened the PDF released and have found it contains layers rather than what you find if it was simply scanned. Obama's mother was 18 when she gave birth to him. There is no record of her EVER being outside of Hawaii. So unless she went into labor in Hawaii and Obama magically popped out in Kenya, I don't see how he could've been born there. Between McCain and Obama, McCain would be more questionable since he was born in Panama Canal. The constitution is not explicit. It simply states "natural-born citizen". But we don't see anyone raising hell about McCain's qualification...what a bunch of sore losers!

I have a copy of my birth certificate. Obama can get a copy of his birth certificate. A COLB is not a Birth Certificate. In another video Rober Gibbs says they have shown the Birth Certificate. That's a lie. Why does the Obama camp continue to claim the COLB is the Birth Certificate. Why won't Obama show his Birth Certicate. This is very suspicious.

Obama can NOT get a copy 'birth certificate.' plus, most hospital-issued 'birth certificates' are now 'souvenir' documents, not legal ones- there was a transition period in Nevada, when I was born, parents had to reapply for a COLB (in the county health dept) for the child because the hospital didn't file births that year. I have a COLB.

Obama is not a natural born citizen because his father was not a citizen of the USA. To be natural born, both parents must be citizens. If he was born in Hawaii, which he refuses to prove, that would only make him a citizen, not a natural born citizen.
Also he became a citizen of Indonesia and never did apply for US citizenship after that. This makes him an illegal alien.
Barry must be removed from office as the constitution is the ultimate law of the land. Barry is not above the law.

He has only produced a Certificate of Live Birth (COLB) not a birth certificate. A COLB was made available to people born out of Hawaii...if they had a mother that was a citizen. Obama's Indonesian born sister also has a Hawaiin COLB.

the truth is..Berg v Obama and the Hollister case, Perkins Coie. Very little work was done in the lower court in the Hollister case and the lower court Berg case. They are now both on appeal, and at least one brief will have to be filed in those cases. If they are successful on appeal, and are awarded costs AND fees, we'll know how much was spent, but the millions of dollars claimed for private representation is ludicrous, based on the work done in these 2 cases Obama hasnt paid anything.

There were statutes in Hawaiian law that allowed for babies to be born elsewhere. It was a state accepted late tot the union and had different laws on the books. His Indonesian born sister has an Hawaiin COLB.

Your interpretation of citizenship law is completely contradicted by 8 U.S.C. 1401. Anybody born on US soil is a citizen from birth. According to several court rulings, anybody born on US soil is a natural born citizen. Citizen from birth, native citizen and natural born citizen are all synonymous.
There is not one current judge, member of Congress or legal scholar who agrees with your interpretation of citizenship law.

Wong said that it's been the tradition of British common law that anybody born on their soil was a British subject, and the same tradition, natural born citizen, carried over here under the Constitution. They also said that subject and citizen were functional equivalents.
Ankeny explicitly declared that anybody born on US soil is a natural born citizen. Perhaps you should reread that case.
