  • @ShowsOn Because with preference votes they had the numbers. How do you think he won the election dickhead.

  • Politics and honesty you don't see that often.

  • Can some please enlighten me. I don't follow politics (i think its all bullshit and not worth arguing and getting angry with other people over it) but now im 18 and its going to be compulsory for me to vote might as well get some education on the subject matter. What is so bad about Abbot? I hear a lot of you hate him, I know people don't like Gillard because of carbon tax and other stuff but whats everyone's beef with Abbot? Thanks for your time.

  • @MrDakadaka Abbott's policies are completely illogical. He says he can cut carbon emissions by the same amount as the government, but it won't cost a cent. He says he can offer everyone tax cuts, but without the revenue from the mining or carbon taxes. He is offering everything to everyone but won't explain how it will be paid for. That's why many people think he is extraordinarily dishonest. By the way you'll have to enroll to vote, go to the Australian Electoral Commission website.

  • The difference between Labor and Libs - Libs can actually run a government with a fixed agenda.

  • @presidentelliot Oh, you mean like introducing WorkChoices without mentioning it during the 2004 election campaign? Or Tony Abbott saying that the Medicare safety net wouldn't be changed during the 2004 election campaign, before changing it, and thus increasing the cost of medicines for about 250,000 people straight after the election? So much for a FIXED agenda!

  • That old guy for Prime Minister!

  • All pollichickens are OXYGEN THIEVES - Not a braincell amongst any of em

  • LOL

  • Wow the carbon tax will cost everyone $40 000 up till 2050, ruin our economy, export jobs overseas and have no effect on the environment. Since none of the other major economies are introducing a carbon tax, especially one as high as this, and our economy is based on mining, and primarily fossil fuels, can someone please explain how anyone can support this?

  • @LMacleodovich Actually it will cost the economy about 0.1% of GDP over the next 20 years, and about 0.3% of GDP over the next 40 years. But hey, don't let any facts get in the way of your fear-mongering.

  • @ShowsOn Yawn again to the fact that in the last 25 years we have had to endure 2 Labor govts and both put us in record debt with recessions we had to have, and almost ruined whole industries. With history as proof. Labor has not had one successful govt since the 60s. We're it not for compulsory voting they would never get in.

  • @ShowsOn You are conveniently ignoring the fact that the gst replaced a stupid tax system that had to go. And since then has enabled more growth and foreign investment than ever before. Also you ignor that the carbon tax is a lie based on a lie delivered by a liar.

  • @ShowsOn No I'm talking about 1953 you dick. He took it to the peps and won. Gst covers all the stupid sales taxes we had before it. Carbon tax is based on a lie that green fucktards endorse regardless of the protests of such. Try and move on from your green blanket mantra.

  • @Adirtybird YAWN. Again you conveniently ignore the fact that in 1998, more people voted against the GST than for it. The GST taxed services for the first time ever, it put a tax on getting your car washed, lawn mowed, house painted. You're conveniently ignoring the $48 billion GST, and are pretending that the carbon 'tax' that in the first year will be about $8 billion will cause the sky to fall in. Your hypocrisy knows no bounds.

  • @ShowsOn Correct. The GST is still the highest tax ever! And will dramatically increase. Yeah, Coward won the 1998 election due to the preferences by the fucked up National party, Beazley actually beat him... man i was pissed about that at the time lol! Now i vote for no-one.

  • @Adirtybird Hope ya right. If not move away from the coast.

  • @Adirtybird Mate, The CO2 (breathing) tax is simply an extension of the GST. The GST was, as you put it, a consolidation of other taxes, or a flat tax. In the U.S. it's a Sales Tax. In the UK they have a Value Added tax (VAT). These taxes gradually get increase and morph into incremental taxes... one of the planks in the Communist Manifesto. Where we a re headed is not pretty.

  • @venuecam What a load of abject nonsense. The sale of carbon permits has absolutely nothing to do with the GST. Stop spreading disinformation disguised as fact.

  • @raff23 Yes but Howard the guts to take it to an election. And he won. Not like your hero slag that lied to us and then rufused to listen to the majority of Australia who are waking up to the lie that is AGW. The Herald Sun is one of our top selling papers???? I wonder why??? Idiot watermelon.

  • @Adirtybird Are you talking about the GST election in 1998? The result of that election was that more people voted against the GST than for it. Labor won 50.98% of the vote, the Coalition won 49.02%. Oh, and this year the GST will raise something like $48 billion, which is about 600% more than what will be raised by the carbon 'tax'.

  • @Adirtybird thats a straight up lie. Howard said there would be NO GST before the election, and once voted in again did the ol backflip and introduced it anyways.

  • @TheLastOutpost Do some research goose.

He said no gst at the first election he won but put it on the table for the next and with a deal done with the nationals and the dems he got it passed. Stick to the football mate and leave the big issues for the grown ups.

  • @Adirtybird At that second election (1998) the Coalition received fewer votes than Labor. So more people voted against the GST than for it, yet the Coalition introduced it anyway.

  • My faith in old people has been restored.

  • @bongo155 lol

  • Gillard is bad, but sometimes it's the lesser of two evils. She might actually do an alright job if the Labor party wasn't dominated by the Right wing faction. A right wing party opposing a right wing party can only lead to failure.

  • lol fuck politics

  • People actually like this guy? The old man is right, at least Julia Gillard is trying to do something for the world, unlike Abbott who just says "STOP THE BOATS STOP THE BOATS" bloody isiot

  • 9 Dickheads don't like the fact that Mr.Maggot is a Dickhead!

  • OWNED!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Well said.

  • This man is a great Australian patriot

  • Yes i do want a prime minister to lead us, all i am saying is that she lied to us and we all know that if she told the truth the good Tony Abbott would be leading the country strongly. The carbon tax is actually a bad idea no matter your view point, it wont change the climate, it wont help us keep up with the world, and how can you say that it is easier to go with Labor as it costs less, all these compensations have to take money from somewhere....

  • @LMacleodovich john howard never lied in his 10 years in govenment? what about his "no GST" pledge? seem to remember no one batting a eyelid to that yet the hysteria over a genuinely proactive proposal called the carbon tax is absolutely ridiculous. You can blame the liberal bias papers such as the herald sun for drumming up the fear campaign and morons like alan jones for abusing gillard over the airwaves for the reactions towards the tax.

  • You are all the biggest bunch of left-wing simpletons I have ever seen, anyone who supports Labor or their communist green friends are either liars or mislead - that is a fact. Tony Abbott and the Liberal Party are the only people who can save from the lying incompetence of the Gillard Government. So anyone who wishes to insult Tony Abbott should think before hand so they can finally realise how stupid they are in actually support Labor Government.

  • @LMacleodovich Shut up and go listen to your bs hero Alan Jones, read your bs propaganda the Daily Telegraph and watch your bs propaganda a current affair.

  • @splendidmate You can't assume that because I disagree with a carbon tax I watch propaganda, otherwise we could just start on the ABC, but the fact it that if you want a carbon tax you are either misinformed or you don't like Australia, now if you do like Australia, I can help you understand the true implications of a carbon tax, unaffected by propaganda.

  • @LMacleodovich All the carbon tax is attempting to do is adjust our economy so that we don't lag behind the rest of the world due to our mass of resources. It has been such a long time coming and almost every politician worth a damn, as well as Tony Abbot, has said that pricing carbon is an inevitability. It's painfully obvious that he's just butt hurt from losing the last election and is doing everything in his power to wreck the government and force an early election. It's dirty ass politics.

  • @splendidmate The majority of Australia DON'T WANT a carbon tax. Abbott is trying to stop something happening to Australia which we DON'T WANT, that's not dirty ass politics, that is democracy. Dirty ass politics is lying to the public before the election still doing it, not following through with promises taken to the election, refusing to hold an election because they know they will lose it, and that is EXACTLY what Labor Government are doing. And we are not falling behind the world at all...

  • @LMacleodovich Ok, if tony abbot wasn't going on and on about this tax, do you really think anyone would care? i mean we're talking about saving the planet here and you're whinging about paying an extra $2 a week... The ever expanding China is going to increasingly invest in green power now and in the coming decades, which is why economists are saying it's a good idea to get on the bandwagon now! our scientists and economists are recommending the tax and you're listening to a bunch of windbags

  • @LMacleodovich furthermore, do you actually want a priminister who sits around worrying about what the public wants? we need someone with balls to lead us, otherwise we have a poll driven leader with no vision who sits around waiting to be told how to lead. A crowd of people is not even half as intelligent as one person, a mob has the intelligence of a 5 year old. It's very easy to make people angry and scared and that is exactly what abbott has done.

  • DICKHEAD.

  • i've found my new hero

  • DICKHEAD!, on ya mate

  • Julia Gillard shits all over Abbott. Dumb fucks believing all the shit this wanker bangs on about. Wake up he's a bloody moron!

  • @haylele Oppostions don't win elections, governments lose them.

  • I almost pissed my self when I saw this on T.V

  • @AUSM92 No you called him a "Dumb old cunt." And you call him abrasive and crude!!! Pot meet kettle, you are just another right wing hypocrite with no real argument except abuse. Still refusing to address the matters above, still trying to deflect, still unable to provide support for his claims, still claiming to know exactly what the legislation will say and still able to see the future, and still opposed to saving the planet for future generations. And stupid enough to call me "Tiger"!

  • @AUSM92 Nor did I make any comment about money going offshore. Once again, until we see the details, we just don't know. Just loke Abort, although he's against something he was in favour of a short time ago. Regardless, tyour post has no relevance to the matter in hand, and, as yet you have not make any case for your original post. Apparently, you cant support so you start with off topic matter to deflect attention. I won't work with me. Address the points you made originally.

  • @AUSM92 Read it, at no time did I claim the tax would be neutral, nor can any one else, since it has not yet been legislated. For some it will be negative and some positive. I don't see your point - neutrality wasn't a point of discussion.

  • ORLY?

  • @AUSM92 You claim my argument is weak and yet you furnish no support whatsoever for your claims. To me that smacks of conceit!

  • @AUSM92 Emotive???/ PMSL! That's what this debate is about, are you saying that my facts are wrong, or have you run out of arguments??? As to addressing your points, have you also lost the ability to read???? I have asked you for supporting evidence to several of your claims, I won't even bother to refute some of your statements until you can substantiate them with evidence, till then they are wild speculation, which does not deserve comment.

  • @AUSM92 Additionally, it would appear that you are content with the fact that Australia is the highest polluting country in the world per capita and that no measure should be taken to address this. Add to that, Abort's multiple backflips on Climate Change plus his continual claims of Gillard stabbing Rudd in the back when that is exactly what he did to Turnbull, and one can only conclude that the old bloke was dead right.

  • @AUSM92 And you failed to address your claim that you read more widely than I do. Further, you do not substantiate your claim:"enriching the bankers funding the CO2 scare" with anything like a fact. Nor is there any proof that the tax income will fall, and I'm still waiting for support for your claim that "low income pensioners are gonna be crushed" nor any discussion regarding Turnbull's position being at odds with Abort's.

  • @AUSM92 Unlike me, you read a wide variety? WTF, you have no clue as to what I read and research, you simply attempt to imply that you are somehow superior! It appears that the Murdoch press is what you classify as a "wide variety" and your "judge objectively" sounds so like Fox'x "We Report, You Decide" (translation "We decide for you"). Many of the opposition disagree with Abort on climate change and a carbon tax, noteably Turnbull, his postion is clearly at odds with his leader! Massive Fail

  • stfu about the carbon tax, even with the compensation package it's going to handed down to everyone who isn't rich, not just the middle class tossers. labour's own ministers even admitted to it, as advocates for the tax.

gillard and abbott, labour and liberal, there's not much difference. even the greens are fucking sellouts.

  • @jamesnigrason NO WAY! A Government that doesn't think people should pay any income tax on the first $20,000 they earn! WE CAN'T HAVE THAT! What next we will have universal compulsory retirement savings (superannuation) and universal health care (Medicare).

Oh shit, we already have them... Sorry, my bad.

  • @AUSM92 And you parrot the rubbish you hear Alan Jones spurt from his cesspit, or maybe MTR (Men Talking Rubbish). Pensioners being crushed? Have you not paid attention - two words - compensation package. Crushed, pffffft.

  • @AUSM92 Says the Abbot parrot. Where did you hear that from mate, Alan Jones or Chris Smith? Examine the policy yourself instead of being brainwashed by the negative politics and fear based rhetoric that Tony Abbot and his media minions are spreading.

  • @AUSM92 It's his bloody policy as described in his bloody policy document! I can summarise the policy: TAX and SPEND. Polluters pollute as much as they like, while the Coalition proposes to take your income taxes and give it to polluters to convince them to reduce their pollution.

  • Tony: Hey, how's it going?

    Old man: dickhead

    Tony: oh really

  • Spot-on, old feller!

  • Best 10 second vidio EVAR!!!!!!!111

  • Lol!!! That man should get a fucking medal! Straight up. I love honest people :-)

  • I think a remix is needed

  • lol cos its true :)

  • old guy = FUCKING LEGEND!!!!

  • WHATTA dickhead prolly a fucking Julia fan

    Fucking old cunt

  • @almuatheb100 id vote julia any day over that prick

  • lol

  • look at yourself first. haha

  • Wow he barely finished saying sir!!

  • fantastic:D

  • @icapZ dude, what's bad about carbon? Lol u sound like one of abbots climate change advisers! Or let me guess, climate change is a "myth" not yet proven, people like u will be the first crying when nature finally gives in

  • Lol, this guy is my hero! Abbott, fuck your dumb

  • Think about carbon people, whats bad about it trees create 90% of the worlds carbon, its a fact that only 1% of the carbon in the atmosphere is made by humans.. This tax is bullshit, its not going to affect the amount of carbon emmited its just going to make hard working australians loose there jobs...

  • @iCapZ1 Think about pollution people. Trees produce 90% of the world's carbon, really??? No really??? When did this start happening? what about all the OXYGEN they manufacture? In fact, in prehistoric times, the atmosphere contained much more carbon dioxide than it does now - when photosynthesising plants evolved, the level fell as tree respiration increased the oxygen level and ABSORBED the carbon dioxide.

  • Perfect word.

  • Lol

  • I love a woman who calls a spade a spade....or in this case, a Dickhead! (If the cap fits......)

  • He must've thought Abott was for the carbon tax

  • Bless that old man

  • This might be a bit off topic. I would like to start off with saying that all politions are useless and act like ltitle children. Having said that, Julia Gillard is probably the worst person for the Prime Minister position. She has Backstabbed Kevin Rudd and has walked over him like nothing, she has no idea what Australian familys are going through just to survive, and to top it all off she is deciding to put a price on carbon which will therefore increase the cost of living even higher. A JOKE

  • @TheHdog09 And Tony Abort backstabbed Malcolm Turnbull - yeah , we all know, it happens all the time. Gillard has a far better chance of knowing what Australian families are enduring than Tony Abort. As for the WORST person for us to have as Prime Minister - he's currently the Leader of the Opposition. I'm guessing you are in the top 25% of income earners - otherwise, i doubt if your cost of living will increase at all. Until the legislation is passed, no-one actually knows what will happen.

  • @TheHdog09 - You're right. You ARE off the topic. Now, I'll get off the topic: - politicians NOT 'polititions', families, NOT 'familys' and 'Backstabbed' is NOT a proper noun, so why upper case 'B'?

One thing people should remember; public housing, unemployment benefits, sickness benefits, war widows pensions etc were ALL due to the Labor party. A party that has a track record of REFORM, something I have never seen from the Liberal party.

  • yes, tony ... REALLY

  • I love that guy. Good on you, mate!

  • Love it thank goodness ordinary people can see him for what he really is. could not have put it better myself.

  • Lengend

  • Oh I did enjoy that.

  • Best 10 seconds of my life.

  • Old people can't help saying what they think, you got to love them for that.

  • wat a legend

  • Just when I thought all old people were stupid.

  • I fucking love this hahaha

  • I like the part where the guy called him a dickhead

  • Hmm, I thought bitter old farts liked Phoney Abbott.

  • @stewart0312

    really? bitter old farts? Respect?

... No more needs to be said.

  • DICKHEAD1 LOL. HE IS.

  • muahahahahahaha

  • national sex party ftw

  • It feels good man

  • HAHAHAHAAHA!!!!! How embarrassing..

  • Thats just a rude Grumpy old mad.

  • @JaseHoleZZR250 no he wont. fuck conservatives!

  • The old bloke can put his slippers under my bed anytime, love him.

  • If you look closely and listen hard, you can also hear the lady telling Abbott to "F-Off" , prior to her giggle.

Remember, this is being said to Tony "shit happens" Abbott.

  • @artofsej Wow, you're right! Just when I thought that footage couldn't get any better... :)

  • Tony is such a cock magnet.

  • @DoublePlusSus You mean the same "well spoken intelligent woman" whos brain is so simplistic she can only latch onto the whole LIAR LIAR part of the argument against the PM as a person and not once mentioned anything to do with the proposed laws behind the introduction of a carbon tax or the raft of other compensation measures in the package as a whole? Good one. This man is just as dumb as her. Argue the politics not the person.

  • @DoublePlusSus Yeah so let me get this right. The 'socialists' are proposing a market mechanism to reduce carbon emissions by putting a price on it, while the non-socialists / reactionaries are presenting taxing and spending with the Government picking and choosing carbon abatement projects (aka socialism).

  • @DoublePlusSus Are you fucking retarded? There is no evidence in this video clip or elsewhere that the man who called Abbot a dickhead is a socialist. There is plenty of evidence of you just making shit up though, which technically makes you a liar. If you respond to this at all, it had best be with some evidence that the man you call a socialist is in fact a socialist. Otherwise, you can admit you are a fool who is terrible at both argument and rational logic.

  • @DoublePlusSus Yep, much like this guy: /watch?v=X0SU8Frk03E (Declan Stephenson) - He's clearly a well spoken, intelligent Liberal voter. Waiiiittt a second.

  • @DoublePlusSus I'll bet you loved the ETS when John Howard was running with it in 2007. And I'll bet you thought that spending $3.2 billion on solar energy and planting trees would have been more fantasy economics from the Greens until the Coalition made it their climate policy. But now... fall in line, soldier! We don't appreciate back talk here in Tony Abbott's green army.

  • Australia's Biggest Dickhead - Tony Abbott

  • hahahahaha, coolest dude ever

  • yes really

  • thumbs up for the laughing lady

  • Tony probably thought he'd found a nice senior who would definitely support his position.

    HOW WRONG HE WAS! :P

  • That voter rocks!
