When they talk about mod in a Sno Pro they normally mean it has an overbore kit... Such as a 600, 730, 780, or 800. The kit consists of jugs, heads, pistons, and a few other items... Thus creating a modified motor sled. Check out speedwerx for more information.

those are race 440 chassis with usually 800s dropped in and large lug tracks, pipes, can. pretty much done up. mod doesnt nessessaryily have to be the motor, its most likely got suspension work, light weight misc. parts, control parts, skiis, and motor mods.

then why would artic cat say that it is a stock sled even though they add some high performance shocks. Fox float pros and some other suspension mods and weight reduction. But a mod is a sled with modifications to the engine not suspension and weight. its all about how u take it in. u could say its a mod but arctic cat doesnt. why would they lie to u?

wrong again the speedwerx mod doens't have a different hood, this is prolby also trail converted running with low comp domes bigger gas tank, twin pipes fox floats,ect. mod doens't mean it's done by speedwerx just by slightly changing a part on the engine you can call it a mod

Speedwerx does have a different hood but u can still use the original hood, 've had friends who've used the speedwerx mod and kept their original hood. some people say that the twin pipes r in the way , but it can stil be fit on but u r taking a risk of melting your headlight system.

lick my balls. no1 would run race gas in the backcountry for a full day seeing as those 5 gallon tanks last a good half hour and it costs $110+ to run your sled for that half hour and yes speedwerx has a mod hood, useless seing as i had twin pipes on my old 04 sno pro the mod hood is the same without headlight cutouts to stop the second pipe from burning it to a crisp. try something other then speedwerx.
