  • Nonsense! Those are not the remains! The Russian Orthodox Church knows they are not! This is one of the greatest scandals of the 20th and 21st Century.

  • Wow

  • Nicholas II may have deserved to die, but not the kids. There's always someone left in the line of succession. He has great-grand nephews alive today. One was offered the throne as a figurehead to unite the people in the short-lived "Commonwealth of Independent States." He wisely refused. The Russians are no better than the Germans they despised for so many years.

  • @Gazzara5 Why do you think Nicholas II deserved to die ? He served his country well for over 20 years as Tsar. He was a man dedicated to the well being of his subjects. No leader of Russia since him, has been as commited to the well being of Russia than he. What justification was there for killing this dedicated patriot ?

  • @ImperialRussianGuard He was a tyrant who authorized the hangings of many so-called "political criminals" while sparing murderers. He blundered into the diastrous war with Japan and WWI, which he led stupidly, costing many Russian lives. He kept Russia in the Dark Ages, and failed to send his wife and kids away when there was still time. Do you need any more?

  • Nicholas II had every right to execute active members of radical left wing terrorist groups. These people where attacking government officials and instilling fear in the general populace. It was his duty as Tsar to stop such unacceptable lawless behavior. In the war with Japan, the Japanese lost twice as many men as the Russians. A tactical military victory could have been achieved if Sakhalin was sacrificed. Before February 1917 Russia on the verge of military triumph.

  • Tsarist Russia was in the Dark ages ? So the country which first published theories on rocket science was in the " dark ages" ? Nicholas II's reign is famous for its great advances in science and art. If anything, our era of democracy could be better described as in the " dark ages" than tsarist Russia could. You are aware that he risked his life in order to reach his wife and children? As a result he was captured and forced to abdicate.

  • @ImperialRussianGuard Sic Semper Tyrannus

  • @Gazzara5 You know that you are wrong when your only counter argument is a slogan.

  • @ImperialRussianGuard It is a slogan because it is true. The days of absolute monarchy were over, and he should have known that. Had he built schools, hospitals, roads, power stations, and universities, instituted land reform, and avoided useless wars, his line might be alive today, enjoying the luxury and privileges the royal families of Great Britain and Scandanavia do. His wife and children died because he didn't even have the brains to send them away when he had the chance. He was a fool.

  • @Gazzara5 Alas he did all those things. He passed numerous education reforms, most notably the one in 1908. Because of this by 1914 3/4 of all Russian children were recieving an education, though some statistics put as high as 91%. Under Nicholas II the railway network grew 57%. Between 1906 and 1917 a great deal of change had been made in land reform. Nicholas II seeked to avoid wars, alas they were declared against Russia.

  • Another cover up.

  • this story makes me cry. I have alwayse felt close to these holy passion barers for the Faith. I say my prayers every morning and night before an icon of the Romanov family. may their memory be eternal, and may they pray for us all! *makes sign of cross*.

  • what about Anastasia?

  • @Indigos8rboi

It is considered to be, what exactly her remains have been found out in 90. And now have found Maria.

  • Why you use down syndrome to push muss murder button? On art of Turner british respect down syndrome like princess. This people cant make decisions about mass murder and I am from Poland and I know they still in power!

  • Some people need to stop whining about ''murdered children''. They were not murdered children but executed princes and princesses. Along with the title, and all the crap about ''divine right to rule forever'', one day justice will come, and if one accepts that he is a ruler just by successing his ancestors crown, he should be ready at any time to take responsibility not only for his actions, but for the actions of the whole system that led him be a monarch just because he was a Romanov.

  • if somebody wants to know some facts about the october revollution in russia in 1917.

And about the cruelty of red army. Then search in google Publish America inc.

There you can order the Keerjack of Anatoly Masnev. The book will open your eyes

and clear your mind.Just order Keerjack by Publish America. You won't regret.

  • The execution of the Romonovs was a great day, it showed that the Proletariats won't be pushed around by royalty any longer.

  • @promdawg The response of a typical uncivilized savage freak...

  • This whole fucking family deserved it! Antisemitic assholes got executed by Jews. Revenge is sweet!

  • No one deserves this type of treatment! RIP to the entire Romanov Family

  • Maybe the Tsar and Tsarina should have suffered reprimand from the secret police maybe the Divine right of kings should come with responsibility and call to duty no man is exempt from concience.I understand it was the Tsarina's incompetance that ruined the railroad no I do not condone murder but how long before it becomes unavoidable how can you ignore the problems for so long?

  • People die and are murdered everyday, because they have a title their death is more tragic? Countless other families have been murdered, children are murdered all the time, I don't see what makes this so special, "royalty" is a make believe phony concept to make it appear that it is the natural order that others should rule you.

  • HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, supplied DNA samples for cross-matching with the remains of his great-aunt, the last Tsarina. In refuting the ridiculous suggestions that the bones found near Ekaterinburg are not those of the Imperial Family, a wit has said, "One has therefore to ask oneself how many previously unknown relatives of Prince Philip are buried in the woods surrounding Ekaterinburg!" Surely, enough said, even for that imperial dumpling, the Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna?

  • The gentleman at 3:39 (Mr. Pyotr Multatuli) wants the Russian government to condemn the slaughter. But realistically, there's not much anyone can do now in so far as punishing the perpetrators - which he seems to imply we should do! Yurovsky (the head executioner) has been dead for over 70 years. And it's a safe bet that everyone involved in the Bolshevik Revolution has since passed on. The best thing is to eulogize the Czar's memory and make sure history is not denied.

  • Sokolov was ordered to "stage" the Imperial Family's murder! This did not happen...This is one of the biggest charades ever presented to the world!

  • Those bones get around, don't they?!

  • Well alot of respected writers/historians were convinced that the investigator at the time, Sokolov, was wrong in his accounts that all the family were murdered. As strong rumours of the women being taken to Perm were still being thrown around months after the execution of Nicholas. And negotiations were being made between Germany and Russia for the safe return of Alexandra and the children. I wonder why Alexei and one of his sisters were buried so far away from the others though??

  • The Bolshevicks were mainly jews ... The tsar fought against the banking elite in russia

  • this is so confusing, they said that they found prince Alexei and grand duchess Maria so they claim that the mystery is solved but in an article i found it said that when the scientist came looking for the bones they only found 9 but at the massacre itself they were 12 people now they are saying they found Alexei and Maria so that makes 11 people, so who's the other person that is not yet found??

  • yea, it still bugs me that there's still no 100% confirmation if the female body found with Alexei is either Maria or Anastasia. from what i had heard, they thought the missing body was the youngest daughter because they determined that Anastasia was the shortest of the girls (around 5''3 i think) at the time of her death, and after measuring the bodies of the 3 smallest female skeletons, they determined they belonged to the 3 oldest daughters, meaning they were too tall to be Anastasia

  • In the cathedral itself, the grave of Maria is the one lacking the "laid to rest here" bit on the stone. So in Russia, they consider Maria the one found with Alexei. Though why they STILL haven't put Alexei and Maria to rest there even though DNA testing is done is beyond me.

  • You know what whould be really cool? If they could make human clones out of the remains! So we can acually get to see the Romanovs! That would be really cool!

  • In Russia is there any opinion in restoring the Romanovs as a Constitutional Monarchy like Canada or Austrailia?

Or does the long arm of history remember some ill feelings?

  • There will never be a monarchy in Russia.

  • Never is a long time.

  • There never will.

  • I doubt it as there is a lot of social problems in Russia now that they have changed from communist to free-market/capitalist. So, I think Russia has more to clean from this 90+ period to be concerned with bringing back a monarchy. Perhaps later in the future they may consider it.

  • so its anastassia or maria???!! im blurred!! still not confirmed yet! even read the DNA procudures, still dont know if its maria or anastassia...

  • i thought anastacia and her brother were the missing bodys? not maria's??????

  • there was a controversy between weather it was maria or anastasia. in my opinion it could have been either one, since they had the same DNA

  • @dogluver1011 It's disputed. the russian scientists say it was maria, the american scientists say it was anastasia.

  • DNA tests are not always carried out properly be wary of these so called results.

  • I may be Catholic, but I would do the sign of the cross to Nicholas and his family.

  • @KaiUchiha15 what do you mean by "do the Sign"

  • Holy Martyred Tsarevich Alexei, pray to God for us!

Holy Martyred Great Princess Maria, pray to God for us!

I wonder what will happen to the relics of these two children now...

  • No one person was Trotsky, how many were christian i wonder?

  • that is the right answer alex.people can agree or disagree, but the truth is very clear.

  • the descendent czar is alive.

  • *this was a horrible thing! the children were not at fault for their parents mistakes. Has anyone herad of the new theory about why Alexey and Maria were found apart? SUpposibly because some of the men present raped the dead body of these two after their death, i think it is disgusting to just think about it but there are people out there that practice these nasty kind of stuff, so i dont know to beleive it or not*

  • @MaPaCha where did you hear this?

  • so sad they did not desurve that am i reate juts kill 1 or thrat them and meybe nicolas and hese family sould have lived there lives fuly.:(

  • I've got to see the Romanov burial!

  • oviously the bolshevik govrement ordered the death of the czar and his family they had a taste of power thats why they eliminated all the treats to take that power away from them.

long live the romanovs. HAIL, to the head of the imperial house, HIH Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna WHOSE fighting for her relatives rehabilitation!

  • people people people, this is all history!

EVERYONE made mistakes, it was war, people were hungry for power so they did ugly and faithless things!

so we should learn from them to prevent this from ever happening again!

  • It is happening again..

  • I DO AGREE...

  • WeaponThatFeedsCuts agree

  • You agree with a someone willing to kill children to lead your country. What a sad state of affairs you've found yourself in. =(

  • @lyden2006 There were still royalists, if the bloodline did not end then they would have risen to power and everything the proletariats worked for would be gone and they would be forced into slavery again. Don't be fooled, the Tsar and all his family deserved to die.

  • @promdawg I am not knowledegable about that period, but didn't russia still immense and widespread poverty after that? it was like everyone was proletariats...I mean the government weren't, but then that is a little ironic.

  • @promdawg Sorry, I retract my comment. I am wrong about that

  • This is amazing, that the news would speak so openly about such a topic. It is good to hear.

  • partially because our new government wants to put the horrors of Bolshevism behind us and re-enstate the Imperial ideology. Plus Tsar Nicholas II have all been canonized in the Orthodox Church.

  • Actually, they've long since got away with it. The Czars remaining extended family relinquished their power from what I've heard. So it is no longer of onsequence.

    Sadly..

  • That is what I've heard to... pay attention to Tsar Alexander and the bombing.. there is something to that to... but it would be the Zionist... only them...

  • 90% of the Bolshevik movement was Jewish, and was a predominately Jewish movement. Rumor has it though, 1 girl named Anastasia may have survived..

  • everybody knows that.......

but i think this is just total torture.what wrong have they done?the romanovs may have been killed for political reasons but 5 innocent children were involve in this what harm can a mere little boy and 4 young ladies do i agree that this death sentence is unfair.

and of course queen alexandra is innocent too.

may nicolas, alexandra, olga, titania, maria, anastasia and aleksy rest in peace.

  • It's just a rumour, never proved...Had she survived, she would be hiding all her life, or until the perestroika came, to my mind...

  • Your probably right, but think of how great it would be if she had survived and had children of her own. If the Czars family hadn't already gave up the throne maybe then justice would have a chance..
