  • Great vid I though i had bust my airbrush but now I actually know what the issue is. Cheers mate

  • What Tony is demonstrating here is the way an Airbrush is in effect identical to a regular Gravity or Suction fed Spray gun, it is just much smaller and capable of much finer work.

The same Bernoulli or Venturi principles apply. Keep the Airl flow constant and your atomisation stays constant so you only need to worry about the amount of paint. The packing nut leaking could possibly be due to the solvents eating the "O" ring seal, so check that.

  • Cool video :)

  • Great Video Tony, keep them coming!

  • Man, you´re good doing airbruhs vids, but you´re a terrible airbrusher, maybe you need LEARN airbrushing before to make HOW TO vids (specially when you´re trying to teach airbrushing)

I don´t want to be bad or evil with you, but it´s the big true.

Anyways, your vids about the cleaning mounting/unmounting are good.

    Best regards.

  • Hi there,

im looking for a new airbrush to begin with...since i cant find an iwata here in my country, i only saw badger brands: Crescendo 175 , 150, and the 100LG...which of these models would you recommend me buying? il be using inks or watercolor and be spraying mostly on papers or boards...

    Thanks for the helpful video

  • Another very enjoyable, and informative video, Tony. Thanks so much for your time, and it's great to see some new videos form you!!

Keep up the good work Tony.

  • Truly a master of what you teach. Thanks for sharing. This is what makes youtube a great place for learning.

  • Very informative. Glad to see it's part 1 and more will be coming along!

  • great!

  • thanks tony i am new to air brushing i needed this vid . thanks again

  • what happened to your xbox videosXD

  • Awesome Tony!!! Thank you so very much! (Jumping for joy!)

I have a few airbrushes that I got for Christmas and I am afraid to use them! I had learned the hard way with my expensive oil painting brushes, if you don't learn FIRST how to clean them properly, you can ruin a $65.00 brush in a heartbeat! :( So- would you please physically show how to clean one that has been used and using "whatever" you use to clean it with, and how best to dry them? The "visual" helps so very much! Thanks:)

  • @MossVFX Yup, packing nut.... I'll explain in my next video. It's an easy fix though. Just take a jewelers scredriver and tighten the packing nut 1/4 turn. The packing nut is way in there though. I little tricky but an easy fix.

  • @AirbrushTricks i must have a problem with my packing nut too then because I have been having paint come back to the trigger area as well and making it a pain in the ass to clean up.

  • Thanks, Great Video :)

  • @MossVFX That's usually due to a loose needle packing nut. I have a video on my channel on how to fix that with a DeVilbiss DAGR that will also work for your Iwata. Have a look.

  • wat kind of chair is that? I like...

  • Good Video Tony!!!

  • I am the dumb animal that kept taking the airbrush apart and cleaning it. Duh...I can't believe I didn't figure this out myself

  • this is such a great video man, nice simple description, good clear diagram and voice, basically a well made video man, thanks sooo much

  • I want an iwata eclipse. I have 2 badger 155 anthem's. I don't really like Badger stuff but hey its cheap.

  • Nice and simple explanations...thanks Tony..
