you have got to take into account that the farmer was more than likely protecting his intrests.. although i think that the loss of life undermines the loss of stock.. unless of course it was livestock. anyways, i feel for ya, the loss of a beloved animal is like losing a limb and to have one taken from you so prematurely must of been dreadful.. I know boxers and they are soft, daft, lovely dogs. It's awful to think of a dog being shot for playing, which is probably what Harley was doing. There may have been a misunderstanding, but I doubt it. Lots of dogs are more worthy than humans - 'lexuslaughs' is a good example of an inferior human, although some of the language posted on here is pretty inferior too. RIP Harley

@Galacticmaster I know mate. I remember one of the little boys my Dad has custody of, he was kicking this dog in the nuts while the dog was laid on his back. I told the boy off, but the dog just laid there. Such placid dogs, I've seen other dogs growl at them right up at their face and the boxers I've come across do nothing. :(

The farmer knew my Dad, knew the dog, knew that he never attacked the sheep,The law is Scotland states he has 2 find the quickest means possible 2 get the dog off of his land if the sheep r being 'worried'. So he drove 4 miles, left his 9 year old son at the scene, came back & shot the dog.Once through the heart & once through something else.Then he told the Newspapers he thought it was a Fox.Tell me that was the quickest means & tell me that wasnt premeditated? lol

I'm sorry to hear about the murder of your dog. I had a boxer and he collapsed while walking him. Took me months to get over it, boxers are just absolutely wonderful dogs.
