Recently my doctor asked me how I felt killing another Human Being when I was in Rhodesia. I related the story of an eight year old African girl who had been repeatedly raped by fifteen "freedom fighters" and afterward butchered like a side of beef as her mother and father watched. My troopers agreed that not one of those animals would survive if caught and no report to be made. They did not and I have never shed a tear for them but many for that small child over the years.

@irishimp2 I do not agree with 'no report to be made'. That is dishonest, if you execute violent murderers that is fine but you should not omit information to army superiors afterward.

@tyciol : At the time of this young girl's death a "written" after action report was the furthest thing on any of our minds. In principle I agree that details should be forwarded to commanding officers immediately following the action. However, in the heat of the moment, with the images still burned in your memory, an AAR was the least of my concerns. Killing the bastards who had done this was... I assume that the BSAP wrote a report of the incident.

The only reason some muslims aren't radical is because they don't read the koran. If they were to start getting more involved in their religion they would be forced to become radical. They more involved muslims become in their religion, the more they begin to hate us... the Christians and Jews because that is what their korans and hadiths teach them to do.

I dont agree with the moderate Islam and not every German is a Nazi analogy because moderate muslims have proven time and time again that they would rather side with radicals than with Christians or the ideals of the west. Radical muslims were once moderate muslims as well. You can only create moderate Islam if those muslims agree to remove the fascist and militant parts of the Quran, otherwise Radicals will always be born out of moderate Islam. So I disagree with her point on that issue.

you got it. They think their salvation depends on it if they 'give of their wealth' and also do such things as da'wa which includes taqiyya/kitman. The bad muslims are the good people - who mohammed called hypocrites. The bad muslims who are not really active in their 'religion' (or idiotology/political movement). There are three kinds of people according to mo - believers, unbelievers and hypocrites (bad muslims/good people).

@staffsgt7 Basically, the muslims who it is possible to make friends with, they are the equivilent of what we often deem 'Cafeteria Christian's. Basically by picking and choosing what to follow they may ignore the violent aspects central to it.

There might not be a lot of muslims who are considered radical, but there are a lot practicing taqiyya and da'wa, and waging a stealth jihad and supporting with their wealth (per the koran) the jihadists.
