Privatize social security will create jobs, lower cost of retirement, make sure there will be money left for the kids and a reliable system that will not have goverment recklessly spending. if we don't do this, our taxes will double to pay for it from 7-15 to 15-30 or there won't be any money left.

I've seen so many private companies go bankrupt in my life, I'd be hard put to choose any one of them that I'd trust to even be there in the future. And besides, social security is also a disability insurance system.

The term Neo-Liberal has nothing to do with a Right / Left paradigm. In order to be considered Neo-Liberal your policies must reflect 1- Free Trade, 2 - Minimal Government, 3- Privatization of Most Government Sevices, and 4 - Minimal Taxation.

Obama meets the criteria. To assert that he is not a Neo-Liberal is false.

Sam, stop drinking so much Cenk Kool-Aid. The Bush Tax Cuts where always going to be renewed, the Obama Administration only made a big deal out of them in order to get unemployment benefits extended and additional tax cuts for the middle class. A 2 year, 2% cut into the income tax towards SS covered by the general fund is peanuts and will not be used by his Administration as an excuse to cut SS... they have plenty of reasons to do that, they don't have to pull any out of their ass.
