  • Thank you=) My 2007 Mazda 3 will get her new air filter soon =)

  • Thanks,

I was unscrewing a whole bunch of stuff!! This was almost identical to my mazda 5.

  • Thanks for the video, job went OK.

  • @luvtrails they cool and vent the battery , so without them the battery would not last very long, it would cook , and if the car ever has a battery explosion , they can and will , it will most likely save lots of engine sensors , and wiring , it is a pain to remove , but actually serves a purpose as much as I hate to say that lol

  • Thank you!!!!! This was very helpful.

  • @BioChic no thank you for watching , glad it helped out !!!

  • fixin ta get er Dunn, I dunn did it ya dig dilly

  • thanks for the video. was able to change my air filter with no problems.

  • i think i want this car anymore lol it looks like a pain in the ass i think ill just buy another malibu my 97 easy but this has to be easier than a 09 i just like mazda sound system

  • I just bought a Mazda 3 and couldn't find the air filter. This video saved me, thanks. Hopefully I'll now get better gas mileage after replacing this filter.

  • @gavran88 you mean there is an air filter in here ...wheres the engine ? lmao , jokes aside , these cars are just tons of plastic covers , everything is covered up lol

  • Great video, got a good chuckle too "getting that booger in there.." LOL. Thanks for the video!

  • @peterkim1999 your welcome , I try to keep things fun :)

  • funny vid..thanks

  • Towrecker...You are the man!!! Thank you so much. Made my life so much easier.

  • @scooney1977 sub for more , next week or so there will be video of rear sway bar links and all replacement , a common failure before 100k ...

  • Awesome video and commentary. You make this look so easy!

  • Thanks man !!!!!!

  • Thank you !!!!!!! Without the video, I never wanted to attempt this on my wife's car... until now! Easily done.

  • @drbazinet yeah it is real easy , if one can overlook the pain in the a## way of getting down to the thing lol

  • You showed us witch way the air filter went in, but I have to say anyone that does not how the filter goes in this car would probably not find it anyway.

  • @bulldog0046 well , my plan was for someone that just knows how to open the hood and check their oil to be able to do it lol

  • this is why i hate working on newer cars hell my truck is 29 years old and i could crawl under the hood, shit it and take a nap if i wanted to and its just a little beater s10.. and if i want to change the air filter i just undo the wing nut on the carb the old hard thing to get at it the oil filter. but i donteven want to begin to think were the oil filter on that car is...lol..

  • @bergercw just watch the other mazda video , about the filter location lol

  • As mentioned before looks like a pain in the, but chrysler wins the prize with the in fender battery. What were engineers thinking?? Great tutorial and I knew something was gonna get thrown on the ground LOL.

  • o god changing the headlight bulb on one of these was a SOB

  • @666ThaScarecro666 yup cant see it to get the wire clip back hooked , I felt that pain lol

  • @towrecker ya of course me and my dad fukd with it for hours then gave up. Mother in law gets it in 2 mins the next day.

  • That is a odd place and setup for the battery but it is a heck of alot better than the crazy in fender desine chrysler did.I would hate to own one of them you'd feel like you have to dissasemble half the vehicle just to get at the battery.I like simple open the hook undo the cables ,holdown and out.

  • @delmontcrusier yeah lets jack up the car and take the tire , and the fender off to replace the battery lol

  • I like the clips ones air filter better than the one with bolts. I have a 2005 Toyota Camry and it has bolts instead.

  • @SolonicToyota1991 they are a pain for sure

  • @towrecker I know, when i take off all the bolts i still can't take out the filter. I have to loosen other parts of the intake.

  • You gotta love plastic.... Nice tutorial

  • @56CrownVick thanks

  • I think that the idiots who design this crap should have to service it. I bet then designs would change drastically.

  • @fordfanatic100 I would say you are very right !

  • wheres the motor?

  • @MrBlueroads well under that pile of plastic , there is a hamster running in his little wheel !

  • i always want to punch the guy out who says i need a new filter at the spiffy lube lol

  • @EricTehRedneck I just avoid the rip offs lol , and thats what they do , rip you off !

  • @towrecker ya one time they tried to sell me a K&N sayin i needed it. i guess they were banking on me coming back with a plugged map sensor later on! told him to shove it where his no no stinks haha
