  • I heard that didnt show this episode on tv because it was too horrifying or something like that

  • BRANDON DEWILDE <3

  • Hitchcock reportedly hated commerical breaks in his tv show.

  • @Wellch Can't say that I blame him, lol. Thanks for commenting. -Michael

  • @hwy61media Is the kid the bald, hippy guy from 'Policewoman'?

  • thanks michael! great show!

  • Re: "Hitchcock the master," etc. Actually, Hitchcock didn't direct this film. Did you, folks, know that? :)

  • diana dors, britains answer to marilyn, and brandon de wilde, god names i havent heard for a long time. this is brilliant hitchcock, i used to love this show, because of the twists at the end of them. memories eh!

  • Hitchcock the master!

Love the music intro to Alfred's series.

Found your channel via a friend, TechGuy.

This episode is insightful for sure.

  • @dimstar4now Hi, thank you and thanks to TechGuy also!

  • This is awesome! Thank you so much :)

  • @koreamy Your welcome. Hitchcock was fabulous!

  • Thanks for uploading!

  • @CandysAllMediaReview Thanks for watching Candy :)

  • This is just beyond 'Suspense' Love Alfred, especailly his famous profile.

Thrilling suspense, love your fabulous uploads Michael, the best on Youtube. I hardly watch them anywhere else. Keep them rolling Director Sir!

Have a wonderful weekend as well.

    Rita

  • @AfsAnehAfairytale Well shucks little lady. Weren't nothing to it :)

  • @GJNCA Very macabre with a touch of humor. LOL

  • Question of the day: Do you think the fine folks at Universal/NBC/Comcast/General Electric will release "Alfred Hitchcock Presents Season FIVE this year? Ain't America's Corporate Media great? Ted Turner's not much better. I had a dream last night where the cops busted down the door and confiscated all my Racket Squads and Twilight Zones. After all, their "illegals"!

  • @jazzfan19605 I don't want to think about it, lol but if I did I would fear the worst.

They took all of them? OMG!

  • @GJNCA I know. These thrillers were great! I just can't picture you as "a macabre little dude!" LOL I'm glad you liked it.

  • To Highway 61: I see you're playing it safe. The copyright police are out in full force. Keep up the good work. Richard

  • @jazzfan19605 I have to brother! It's getting harder and harder to identify what is truly in the public domain. I really do my best to play by the rules and still get surprised. Thanks Richard for the tip and the compliment.

  • excellent video dear Michael, i did see some of the hitchcock movies but not all,

    hugs and kisses margo

  • @shakensel Thank you very much Margo. He was a true master of suspense!

  • Yay!!!!!!

  • @ClassicRockStays116 Whoot whoot!!

  • This episode was intended to open the 1961-'62 season (its last as a half-hour series), but NBC vetoed it on the grounds that the denouement was "too gruesome" [and indeed, it is]. It eventually appeared in syndication. As always, Hitch's monologue was written especially for him by James Allardice.

  • @fromthesidelines I appreciate this information Barry. When I looked it up on IMDB it was confusing so I just left the year it aired out. I'm glad you cleared that up! Do you know that this was in single channel mono? That drives me crazy so I ripped the Mp3 from it and converted it to dual channel mono which, to me, is almost like joint stereo. I don't like that either but better. Love that true stereo separation. "Denouement," great word. Looked it up just to be sure. Mild by today's standards

  • love ah buddy! thanks for the upload!!!!

  • @431516020205 Glad you like it! Thanks
