i remember one or two years ago when this was constantly in between commercials on MTV. i had no idea who death cab was, and i thought this commercial was immensely annoying. i remember thinking 'i am going to kill those guys if they come on the screen again'.

uhhh too bad death cab isn't an indie band anymore. people are beginning to think that indie is a sound when actually its a status like underground rap. indie (independant) is a band thats not signed to a maintsream or major record label. thats ok though cause death is still my favourtie band. bixby canyon bridge...sick song.

well, "Chords" was Ben and Chris, and there's an interview with Nick where he says, "contrary to popular belief, Narrow Stairs is our 7th CD. And also contrary to popular belief, Transatlanticism is NOT our first CD." Chrods might be a demo, but its still considered a CD. It's the CD that got them signed to Barsuk. ahh, i agree, i like that they got successful, but i think it might get to bens head and get cocky, i dont want to see that. i think he;s a nice guy, but idk, he doesnt even talk to fans anymore i dont think. i hate when bands forget the people that buy there CD;s and put them up on that stage.

thanks for the upload, i missed it, oh i know why, i don't watch mtv. but i do love death cab, yes, i'm pretty sure they signed up to survive. most indie label bands barely make enough to keep the band going. of montreal is another example, outback steakhouse was used for touring, nokia commercial i think, etc.
