well i bypassed the 8K resistor to and i connected pin 8 to ground, and for signal amplification i used an small PNP transistor to amplify the signal that goes into the LM3915-LM3916 :)
I put an EQ on the output going to it, limited to probably 100hz-150hz and below. So, it's just registering bass. Then instead of a standard vref resistor I used a POT to vary the range, allowing me to tune it to different volume levels.
Love the project.. good job. But that music sucks ass. freaking monotone ass rap.. anyway good job.
