It means a man could take his own life with a dagger. Quietus meaning somewhere quiet or calm, particularly the 'quiet' of death; a bodkin is a kind of sewing needle, but the term was also used as another name for a dagger. 'Bare' bodkin means an unsheathed dagger. Here finisheth Pam's guide to Shakespearean lingo! LOL!
