@gaminggoddess85 I'm pretty sure that it's to do with the overworld model modifier IDs. Once the chocobo is modified to appear white, the model ID of the chocobo is changed to something else and the placeholder ID that is usually the white chocobo becomes "in-use". Then when the white chocobo disappears and the IDs are refreshed (in and out of battle), the placeholder ID is missing and so it chooses randomly what your model is from the list of IDs.

1. Super Nova

The best summon materia of them all. It's been rumoured the Super Nova materia is available in the game. Three methods I know of exist in obtaining Super Nova:

A. With a silver chocobo(refer to Chocobos), go underwater and visit the crater. Inside you will fight a monster called Alpha-Leviathan. Defeat it, and you'll win the Super Nova materia. This really isn't possible because you have to have a silver chocobo.

By this logic, you should also be able to control Diamond and Ultimate WEAPON, to some extent. Possibly Emerald, I'm not sure. Either way, just thought I'd share what I've figured out.

I think, at the end of the video, he was controlling the barrier around Northern Cave. It seems the glitch allows you to control things that are placed on the map at a certain time, and are removed later. One way, or another. Cannon is placed at Junon, then moved to Midgar. Ruby Weapon appears after the Northern Cave incident, and can be removed by defeating it. The Barrier appears after the Northern Cave incident, and is removed after the Junon Canon/Sister Ray is fired. [loltextlimit] [c]

All you REALLY do is first master 12 chocobo lures like he said,but then, you have to look around the chocobo sages house. It randomly appears there and is just...lets just say really crappy...The only positive note is you can use it to breed with the black chocobo giving a silver instead of gold chocobo.But...it doesnt do anything different than the gold.

Well the logic makes sense. The game does not really allow white chocobos, so you force one. Easy enough, but once it pulls that data back, for battle or a town event, it refuses to put said data back to active, so it forces you to be the next available special map object.

So, in theory, anything that "exists" on the world map as a special object could be played as.

At least, this is the logic I throw at this. Awesome, really, to see the redundancy in the code.

thats a real chocobo you an get that if you walk on the tracks underwater, you need 12 chocobo lures fully mastered on each character, then with underwater materia get cloud to walk to the emerald hole, then run back and forth on trakcs, you need to kill the chocobo with a perfect omnislash, then use phoenix to revive it and you can ride it, and fly it in the air!

Highly unlikely. The glitch seems to be triggered by entering a battle with an object that is taken out of the final game, yet remains in the game's programming. Ultimate Weapon's controls would be vastly different anyway.

Perhaps if there's another airship in the code.

Yeah, I was disappointed too.

There is a code for putting a chocobo in a stable, and you can select a white one by setting the last number to 5, but I didn't get it to work.

I got that code to work after all. It seems you have to have a chocobo in that stable already for the code to work. If you try to ride the white chocobo, it will appear as a yellow chocobo when you select it and disappear before you get to the world map.
