i have never used megaupload to download large files(movies,games,os...) or any other sharing websites !! i use torrents because their infrastructure is totally legal ( visit wikipedia) and they have the largest user base in the world over 300,000,000 active users online(seeds/peers) !! they can never shut-down bittorent because it's peer 2 peer and nothing is ever uploaded on a server :D §§ last time i checked i downloaded 6542GB of torrents in the period of 3 years :D pretty cool !!

Ya know... All those news try to make Megaupload just a copyright case of them having illegal files... However, they basicly nullified every legal defense by not going by the copyright law by not removing the copyrighted files, just making the links for them invalid and they were also accused of money laundering... after a year long investigation.

First of all they will have to successfully prosecute MegaUpload before they could go after their users, and that will take years and judging by all the holes in the indictment, that may never even happen. Look how long it took for them to act in regards to a blatant copyright infringer, now imagine how long it would take them to figure out the identities and successfully prosecute 130,000,000 users.
