I was there! Orchestra Row W Seat 18...Listening to the Dead's music at an old-fashioned venue like Shea's was like taking a TRIP back in time! I was peaking at this point in the show and NOTHING in my entire life has ever felt better than singing along to the chorus of "Franklin's Tower" live - absolute euphoria! I was dancing like a madman with total abandon and felt like I made a telepathic connection with Phil! Strange sights and sounds that night, it felt like I was in "Apocalypse Now"!
oh man, sounds like the best time ever! me and my friends are trying to get some tickets to anything but no one is ever comming to columbus ohio!!! BUT there is a Grateful Garcia Gathering July 29, Aug 1 and Aug 2 and one of those dates is Jear Bears birthday but the tickets are $80 a peice :(

it was awesome i saw bob weir and ratdog in burlington vt a few weeks later they were amazing in my opinion
