i buy a carivan with a 3.3 its gets the same gas milege as the pt but dosent have head gasket problems like the pt and the neon but i drive a toyota corolla with over 300,000 kms on it nothing but the timming belt changed i like to see a pice of shit neon go that far like 160,000 the neon motar is junk

yup and you also probably find it almost impossible that a 19 year old guy drives one might i add the fact i do like it and that i plan on adding mod to it.. oh and you might already know this but the engine in the pt is a matter of fact the SRT-4 engine. and no matter what anyone says, with some work done you can get the damn thing down to 10 seconds... so besides the body style(which looks a hell of a lot like a more rounder VW STI.)

I agree with him to tell ya the truth... my grandma has a PT Cruiser, and it's the biggest piece of shit both of us have ever seen! it has a blown head gasket, AND a blown heater core! FROM NORMAL DRIVING!!

well then you guys just had bad luck. mine on the other hand throws out 300 HP with little modification done to the engine. it came stock at 265 with a Turbo and its been good to me ever since. what ever you or the previous owner did was probably ran the shit out of it with out taking care of it. believe me they can be pretty fast if you know what your doing. and all i spent on mods was a little over 1K only because Mopar overpriced their stage 2 upgrade kit for it.

Well, what year is yours? Ours is a crappy second-year base model PT Cruiser.. we've actually been taking pretty good care of it... we got it 4 years ago with 90,000 miles on it, and now at 126,000 the only thing that works right is the radio, and the windows!

the only way a head gasket is blown is because someone treated it poorly or like you said it has high miles or you probably are using the wrong coolant. your blown heater core could be the result of your low speed fan not working. now yes i agree any model that isn't a GT or a Dream machine is crap.

case closed, ford sucks, dodge is better, ford does have a few good cars though, but overall, I choose dodge. The only car that compares to the dodge charger or srt6 would be the mustang. which is crap, the only way a mustang would beat either one of those cars would be if it was a (and im talking about newer cars here, which means 06-up mustangs)would be if it was a gt500 mustang, which would be tight between a srt8 charger. w/e, i dont think i even need to argue my point here.

..I like the expediton better, but durango is faster, its got a hemi engine. also, back to jeep grand cherokee (made by dodge and jeep for those that dont know that chyrsler, jeep, dodge are all one company), but the grandcherokee has an incredible interior and performance specs, i cant say enough good things about the srt8. also, find a ford car to compare to the dodge charger hemi and srt8, and magnum, and the 300C, or the crossfire srt6. and most of the cars I named have AWD availabilty.

Also The 2008 SRT10 has 600hp, not like preivious models with 510, it got upgraded everything as well, it beats out vette and ford gt. compare the explorer to the jeep grand cherokee, thats a fair comparison, dodge made the engine, its got 2 different hemi engines, both faster than the explorer, the expedition better compares to the durango, I like the expedition better but.......
