Hoover High Drumline on NBC

You guys should check Hoover Drumline for what it is now. We've come a long way. We've gotten a new band instructor and drum coach. We can actually read music. Our cadences actually want to make people dance. So if you wanna hear, come to one of our games this year. This is the first year in about 37 years where we're going to have a Field Show band.

Here's what I have to say about this shit drumline. First of all, the tenors are horrible, it looks like they're playing on fucking garbage cans. Second, the snares need to clean up their playing. NONE of you are even close enough in skill to play in a drumline. And this cadence is fucking bad. Whoever came up with it should jump off a building. All I can hear is snares, all the other shit is quite like pussies playing. You all best stick to beating on cans or something.

'Da right technics'? What techniques? Our traditional grips are a bit sloppy because we just learned it, and switching from 3 years of match to trad is pretty damn hard, but i'd have to say my line is pretty good on techniques. We're a groove line, not a corps line. Thanks for the suggestion tho :)

As I watched the video and read your comment, I couldnt help but observe the snares slicing a lot with their right hand. Which has absolutely nothing to do with your traditional hand. And wether or not you are a 'groove line' or a 'corps line', make it look good. Because that didnt. Nice try. :)

Groove line, or corps line, it does matter. We don't have a fuckin drum coach or anyone to look up to. we don't compete. our best player is krazygonuts, who isnt even the leader. we are in demand in SD just for random shit, like Prep pigskin on KUSI and NBC, and City Heights celebrations. but thats in our community. So who the fuck cares if we aren't all neat and in unison. we don't. some of my drummers just LEARNED how to read quarter notes this school year. so don't fuckin hate.
