And they don't use visual range of photography for nebulas. They take pictures applying the three primary colors of light assigned to the composition of the nebula. Red shows emission from singly-ionized sulfur atoms. Green shows emission from hydrogen. Blue shows light emitted by doubly- ionized oxygen atoms. So, if you were to look at the nebula it wouldn't look like the picture shown.
Humility in life is the only gift I can expect when looking into the cosmos. My significance is defined by the value I give to my experiences. My purpose, however, is brought into perspective when I see the effect of my actions. They will die off, and any desire I might have had will ultimately be meaningless. We cannot focus our lives on what cannot be eternal, at least not beyond that of our achievable, self-fulfilling accomplishments and experiences. You're not eternal. Be happy now. You can.
..because it was located in the cancer starconstellation. Don´t ask why this is called cancer. In very erarly times in astronomy, describing an naming things where the only options for scientists. And clearly, different objects deserved different names. Some of these given names i can understand. Others not.
This is like a long time but I just found out why! cause an astronomer with his huge 36 inch reflector telescope was viewing it and he sketched it! he said it like the form of a crab and thats how it became its name! The name of the founder was Messier though but the person that sketched it was a different person! But messier was the one that found it! Olaus he found other objects while looking for comets.
I love how insignificant space makes me feel. It grounds you. We are nothing.....a blip in the universe in both size and the time we're here. I love it!
No, I'm a Human Being. Nothing but a walk on part in the history of this single planet, in a vast and constantly growing universe, and TOTALLY insignificant compared to the majesty of ancient space. You have ideas way above your station, that's your problem. Alas, it is also the problem of this race as a whole.
how bright u are!! u are a human. With 500 billion cells comprising ur physical make up. 500B independent life forms power u.
To your mitochondria, u are a galaxy. (500 billion cells in the body - to 500 billion stars in a galaxy) To your atoms you are a universe. Its infinity in both directions buddy, larger and smaller. Infinity doesn't extend from your perceivable world into the galactic and beyond. This is also why we have telescopes and microscopes.
...So, in the bigger scheme of things, The Milky Way is just as much of a threat to Andromeda's gravity than it is to The Milky Way's. The chances of danger to stars and planetary systems are probably low. It will just butt-fuck Astrological perception.

You are about as significant as the noises my bottom makes after a good meal, in comparison to the Crab Nebula!

maybe the noises from your ass sound like a saxaphone in the moonlight, in comparison to a 67' chevy w/ candycane wheels.
