  • Great technique, love the texture and detail. I keep forgetting about using painting knives, I really should grab them more often.

  • Even though this is difficult to do the first few times, it pays off to keep trying. I return to your two "rock" videos for review. Thank you for keeping the instructions on the screen simple and few. It helps to watch and discover the technique and see the results. Thank you for helping me to grow in my watercolor painting!

  • I started doing rocks that looked like sticks actually but learned few tricks in scraping techniques. ^_^

  • Yes. Thanks for viewing.The key is put light color on left of cutter and the other side darker color. You will notice when I take color transfer them to cutter, The darker color is at the tip of brush and the lighter color is at the middle of brush where more water is stored.I know you can make better ones and practice round cutter strokes .;)
