The lack of DIVX on this player makes it of very low value to me.
I can't believe Panasonic screwed up so badly and made a player which can't play basic files.
I don't trust Panasonic as much now as I used to

@RonQE Yeah, that lack of DIVX kills it. I'm glad I was warned! My old DVD player can do more than this can in terms of media files!

Nice simple bluray player. Has some nice network services with accuweather too.
It claims to be able to play divx format but this is not true. It's not a certified divx player and it does not play divx files.
