God wants us to accept Him and believe in Him. So however we go about that, is not for others to call right or wrong. If we grope to realize God's purpose for us and find joy in worshipping Him, we are doing His will. He wants His children to accept and believe in Him, on a collective AND aindividual basis. In II Peter 3:9 we read, "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance". God does not want us to go into eternal punishment. He is not going to force us to serve him, otherwise we would be mere robots.
@Fleshissin I Timothy 2:4 says, "Who desires all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth". It is God’s will that all be saved, but we know that is not going to happen. We have already seen that only few are going to be saved and the majority are going to be lost. Also, as the verse says, before we can be saved, we must "come to the knowledge of the truth." Jesus says in John 8:32, "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

@auggystyle The word "eternal" in most bibles is a mistranslation. There is no hebrew nor greek word that equates with our english "eternity, eternal, forever, or everlasting." That is a fact. The hebrew word "olam" and the greek word "aion" both mean "age" or "eon." Ages and eons are both periods of time with a beginning and an end. The proper translation for those verses you mentioned is "age-abiding chastening." The gospel truly IS good news!! :)

@Fleshissin I also checked into all the scriptures you used as a reference when you sent me your reply and not one of those verses of scriptures validate your point you need the Holy Spirit in your life to give you a better understanding of the bible you read. All those verses in Jeremiah you referenced were not about hell, but the children of Judah giving God human sacrifices in His temple that He did not command them to do which was an abomination unto God.

If we grope to realize God's purpose for us and find joy in worshipping Him, we are doing His will. He wants His children to accept and believe in Him, on a collective AND aindividual basis. When you realize this, then you can accept how others find Christ. I don't think we should be spending too much time splitting hairs over how one persons interprets certain bible passages.

We have already seen that only few are going to be saved and the majority are going to be lost. Also, as the verse says, before we can be saved, we must "come to the knowledge of the truth." @auggystyle The word "eternal" in most bibles is a mistranslation. There is no hebrew nor greek word that equates with our english "eternity, eternal, forever, or everlasting." That is a fact. The hebrew word "olam" and the greek word "aion" both mean "age" or "eon." Ages and eons are both periods of time with a beginning and an end. The proper translation for those verses you mentioned is "age-abiding chastening." The gospel truly IS good news!! :)

@auggystyle You want some verses that say that condemnation is not permanent" Okey dokey. 1 Tim 2:3,4 "This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our savior, who will have ALL men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth." What these verses mean is that God will have all men to be saved, and come to the knowledge of the truth. Therefore, no one will be condemned forever, and all mankind will be saved

@auggystyle Romans 5:18-"Therefore as by the offense of one(Adam)judgment came upon all men to condemnation, even so by the righteousness of one(Jesus)THE FREE GIFT CAME UPON ALL MEN UNTO JUSTIFICATION OF LIFE." What this means is that the same was Adam condemned all men by his sin, Jesus Christ will justify THE SAME ALL MEN. You can deny this until you're blue in the face, but Adam does not have more power to condemn the world than Christ has power to justify the world. Deal with it

@auggystyle Here's another scripture. 1 Corinthians 15:22 "As in Adam ALL die, even so in Christ(the same)ALL SHALL BE MADE ALIVE." See, this is a confirmation of Romans 5. How many people died under Adam? The whole world, every single man, woman and child. So, how many people will be made alive in Christ? Why, the absolute very same ALL who died in Adam. What a glorious gospel, no one will be condemned forever, because all will have life in Christ. That's just what He died for! Rejoice!! ;)

@auggystyle Here's another verse. Lamantations 3:31, "For the Lord WILL NOT CAST OFF FOREVER." This means that He will not cast off forever. So, we have scripture saying God will have ALL men to be saved, that the same who were condemned under Adam will be justified under Christ, The same who died in Adam will be made alive in Christ, and the Lord will not cast off forever. I believe this, you don't. Yet you think MY belief is delusional. God will save all mankind, augs.

@Fleshissin because true revelation is from God, and revelation from God will never contradict His word, and this is how you can tell whether it is of demonic or divine origin. Mr.Pearson say's God gave him this revelation on inclusion and hell being non-existent as we know it to be, but this revelation is in conflict with God's word, and must be rebuked for it is not of God this is devils doctrine. Any body that follows this teaching does not know God, and our sons of perdition.

"For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear."

The LORD is Love, but he is just, he does anger, and he does cast down judgments, and his judgments are just. Who are you to say the word of the LORD is wrong? He tells you specifically if you are not saved you will face the judgment of HELL which was not created for you but for satan and his angels.

For if all are saved, then you don't feel like you're very special, do you? Your pride exalts you above everyone else who doesn't believe the way you do, and this gives you a felling of superiority. You claim that if all will be saved and there is no hell, you would rather do all the uncontrollable sin that you can get away with. Your so called love for God is far from sincere. Do you just "love" God because you are afraid to go to "hell?" Obviously. But here's the big question. Do you live a godly life since you DO believe in hell? Does the notion of "hell" make you avoid ALL sin? Let your username answer that! :)

Here's where faith fits in..Ephesians 2:8, "For by grace are you saved THROUGH FAITH, and that NOT OF YOURSELVES, IT IS A GIFT OF GOD." So, WHAT exactly is not "OF OURSELVES?" It's THAT FAITH! See? THAT'S where "faith fits in," it's a GIFT. God will give us ALL faith to believe. Contrary to what YOU believe, it's not mustered up on our own. GOD gives us the gift of faith(Romans 12:3)

Jesus mentioned hell more times in the New Testaments then He mentioned heaven, and I don't want to come off as if I take delight in knowing that hell is real and people will be there for eternity, but it's the Truth no matter how you attempt to twist and realign scripture to prove your point God's Word will not change.

See how many times the word "hell" turns up in red, and how many times the word "heaven" appears in red. @Fleshissin After further research it appears that Jesus did make mention of heaven more than hell, but he did speak on hell 15 times between Matt and Luke and also, once in Revelations I don't have a problem admitting when I'm wrong. The mere fact that Jesus mentioned hell once is enough to confirm it's validity. I feel sorry for you it's not even funny and it's not a laughing matter that you are so lost, but yet you think you have truth the spirit of error is working in you.

@familyman2486 Well, you are the first person I've seen who quoted that falsehood that Jesus spoke more about hell than he did heaven who actually checked it out and admitted you are wrong. But again, you are wrong. Jesus didn't mention "hell" 15 times. Remember, many times the 4 gospel writers repeated the same events. Here's how many times Jesus, according to the KJV and without repetition, spoke of "hell." It was a grand total of 11 times, and mentioned "heaven" 69 times in Matthew alone

JESUS NEVER SPOKE ENGLISH! Here are the words Jesus used. Sheol, which is hebrew word for the grave, and Ga Hinnom, which was the garbage sump south of Jerusalem. Believe me, I understand that it makes you so upset that God has both the desire AND the ability to save all mankind, and that He in fact WILL do that. The parable of the workers in the vineyard reflects your attitude. Read it. It's in Matt 20:1-15. It's GOD whom you're angry at because He'll save everybody. @Fleshissin You also claim that I serve God out of a fear of hell you couldn't be more wrong the bible tells us to serve God in Spirit and in Truth, so If I'm going to serve Him out of a fear of going to hell I might as well keep my worship to myself. The truth is I don't even think about hell because it's not applicable to me as long as I am in the will of God. I don't condemn or send people to hell with my words either I don't witness to people by using hell as a scare tactic to draw them.

@Fleshissin I also checked into all the scriptures you used as a reference when you sent me your reply and not one of those verses of scriptures validate your point you need the Holy Spirit in your life to give you a better understanding of the bible you read. All those verses in Jeremiah you referenced were not about hell, but the children of Judah giving God human sacrifices in His temple that He did not command them to do which was an abomination unto God.

@Fleshissin Also when you look at the "entire passage" in Luke9:51'56 Jesus rebuked James and John because of the spirit in which they said "do you want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them", it was not because of what they said, but the spirit that they said it in did Jesus rebuke them. You have to keep in mind that Elijah commanded fire to come down from heaven, and 50 men including the captain were destroyed and God did not call that an abomination.2 Kings 1:10

@Fleshissin These two verses that you seemingly quote just about every comment I Tim. 2:3-4, are being quoted from the King James bible which is a horrible translation the KJV says " Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." There is a fatal error that was made when they substituted "will" as oppose to "wants" all men to be saved. Jesus did not fail He accomplished what He was sent to do which was give us redemption and eternal life by faith in Him....

@Fleshissin LOL, mercy trumps judgment if you are a believer! You have little understanding of the Bible. I suggest you go to some Bible study classes. Also I suggest you learn more about the Old Testament for it tells plenty of God's anger and wrath, as does Revelations. God's word is true and faithful, his word is ultimate truth. Those who do not call on Christ and do the will of the Father will spend an eternity in Hell, for the LORD has spoken, not man, the LORD.
