  • Hey, please don't be mean, I'm just looking for people who truly love this game and have a great imagination and love writing. I'm a roleplayer and I've played this game millions of times and it just doesn't seem enough, so I created my own character and continued playing the game, I know it's much better to play the pc game but since we won't be expecting a sequel soon, I decided to create a new story and with your help it could only get better! Message me for more information :)

  • I love the way Vesuvius looks! More clubs need to look like that!

  • VVs Voice is pure audio sex, awesome, awesome voiceacting. Probably my favorite NPC, even if she is a Toreador.

  • Wow... I may be a girl, too, but Velvet is... wow.

  • Filha da Cacofonia é o clã.

  • I..... love.... Malks

  • the volcano that you are talking about is the one that destroyed pompei during the time of the roman empire. nobody survived when the volcano erupted, sad and disturbing.

  • Darkchiron..u are my hero

i love this game and the commentary makes the game impossible to resist not to play it

thanks for the walkthrough...helps a lot!

  • i wish Troika would get half of EA's money...hopefully by this way they could make a sequel to his awesome game

    english sucks..sorry

  • I love this game. Is there any way to get it running on 64-bit Windows 7? If so, please link me. This is the best game on PC

  • Look at how good this old game looks, then wonder why the people in Fallout 3 look so bad.

  • Velvet is made of pure win, sex, and awesome. I don't care if she's dead, I am still turned on by her voice and expressions. ^^;

  • @DoubleRu i wish Velvet would exist IRL...or at least a person with same personality look and voice

i'd pay a fortune to meet her

  • this game looks awesome i want it

  • God I love this game.

  • I know why she talks like that. it got me a insta boner and i bet it was the same for many others.

  • I love the ambient guitar music that plays when you're on the streets of Hollywood. Fits perfectly.

  • this was a great playthrough so far, absolutely wonderful!! keep up the good work. btw, vesuvius is the volcano that wiped out the ancient greek city of pompeii.

  • @animefreak20212 You mean italian city not greek ; )

  • I played as a Malkavian twice and I never encountered those whispers. :(

  • @Kazikox As I recall, the game without all the fan patching didn't play them that often, and even when it did the whispers were usually too quiet to really notice.

  • @darkchiron Ah, thank you. I'll patch it and go on another replay.

Good work on this playthrough, really entertaining and informative.

  • @darkchiron is there any specific mod that enhances the malk voices where you can hear them better i hear them but theyer soooooo quiet! plz help if you can oh awesome vid faved.

  • @darkchiron i have the steam version on my current pc. can i still do the 7.5 patch and all that?

  • @Marcusianery cool. thanks

  • @Kazikox Yep, don't show often but one time, as i was talking to the Prince i heard a voice whispering 'He's Lying..' Damn. That fuckin' freaked me out :D

  • @Kazikox Its a mod, If anybody wants it msg me :)

  • wats with the voices ? is it the the malkavian's insanity ? cuz it kinda creeped me out wen the voice said "try the corpse in the oven with pepers and fur" in 2:00..and other voices! wats that about?

  • @christellaiffy It's Malkavian 'insight' in the form of voices whispering riddles to the brain.

No one else hears them, outside of the Nosferatu lair where you're meant to assume it's hidden Nosferatu talking to each other.

  • @darkchiron Aren't the Malkavian's the most unstable and dangerous of all the kindred? At least the ones still using Dementation, able to cause mental illnesses on even the most powerful minds. Mental illnesses literally are dangerous to all living beings since it makes them unpredictable and unstable, Malkavians being the most unpredictable of them all, one of them being bipolar disorder combined with psychosis and an extra berserk moment.

  • she is perfect *drool*

  • I beleive there is another hunter across the road from the Peepshow not sure wat the name is just go in and their is a dude with a katana

  • 3:50 The hell happened to her face? She gave a psycho Malk-y grin for a split second there o.o;

  • Don't forget Guns Toreadors also have guns....And celerity. But personally I like the Tremere's thaumaturgy the best.

  • HEY!

You've got a perfect voice for some character speech recordings in a forthcoming Vampire game!!

  • The chick that you follow upstairs in the Vesuvius has a face that reminds me of.. the pigtail Malkavian chick from the first area.

  • brujah 4 life son!

  • Brujah can't argue with stop signs, or convince people that they're talking to a turtle. Malks win be default :P

  • why not use disaplines in (or only around) hunters?

  • damn hot textures!

  • I love this game but the only thing I really dislike is that they use the exact same model to play VV and Jeanette/Therese.. no Idea why it bothers me so much though lol

Anyway I hope someone will buy the rights to this game and redevelop it to the standard it should have been released with

  • i regret choosing toreador more and more....

  • I think the Toreador (like Velvet) still try seduction lines on other vampires because even if most vampires don't have sex any more, those cardinal kind of needs are still hidden somewhere in there. Part of keeping at least part of your humanity intact, I guess...

  • To each their own, I guess. I like Toreadors, and admittedly if VV came up to me and asked a favor, I'd jumped into a sunrise to do it.

And it's not just the outfit either....though it doesn't exactly hurt. Rowr.

  • its not that hard to act like Malkavian

    You need :

    4 strong coffes

2 cups of nutmeg (balls of satan) tea

    good trippy music (not stupid)

Then go to meet your friends and try

    :)

  • Your commentary makes me laugh XD

  • There are Society of Leopold hunters in the game, who are just well-armed and well-trained humans with Numina... are the Hollywood hunters mentioned in this part the supernatural Imbued?

  • I believe Bach and the girl in the porn shop are the only two which show any supernatural abilities in this game.

  • THIS is the reason why I love Malkavians.

"Try the corpse in the oven with peppers and fur..." I rofled.

  • Don't know if anyone told you this, but Vesuvius was the volcano in Italy that destroyed Pompeii.

  • its DRY the courpse in the oven with peppers and fur not TRY

  • I play as Toreador female normally.. when I get the chance. My sister is occupying the game most of the time. Gah.

  • ok what pisis me off is that i just got this game at steam games and it downloaded swell..what i dont get is when i go to play the game a bubble pops up saying ((available memory less then 15 mb))..i dont know what the hell that means..can you so me how to get it playing?.

  • Sounds like you have an issue with your available RAM. You could try closing out your programs and background processes with ctrl+alt+del.

  • Actually, it's a problem with the engine.dll. People have fixed that bug and uploaded the revised file to some sharing sites, or if you're brave you can find instructions to fix it yourself with a hex editor.

  • helo im tyring to buy this game for 20$ from gamestop and steam but i cant buy from ether cause my bank wont send money over seas do u know where i can buy it for low price cause ebay everywhere ppl sell it its like 389$dollers

  • You should probably read the reply by schneese to your problem. Good luck fixing that, too.

  • Yay! She's voiced by Cree Summer. I can recognize that smooth sexy voice anywhere. Coolness! Thanks for posting this, man.

  • Sorry, it was Nika Futterman. Google it.

  • What'd You have against Toreadors, Lunatic? -.O

  • They're a bunch of wanna-be Anne Rice vampires who try to play at being human again because they can't take what they are. They mourn what they are, and thus they invariably turn into whiny little rain clouds, dripping their tears all around the heads of anyone foolish enough to pay attention to them.

  • Enguarde, Lunatic. >:3 And the Malkavians are unstable Babbling Brooks of Vampires, Tossing around their madness to anyone with a mind to snap. And that "Insight" Isn't much use when you talk in a mix of riddles and jibberish. =D

  • That's what the game wants you to believe. If you played the PnP version of VtM you'd get to know that Toreador's are just crazy for arts and beauty and can even go into rotschreck when facing ultimate beauty. The disciplines they are given in bloodlines is a joke. Auspex and Presence are way better in the PnP.

That's the only thing about this game I really hate. The bugs and graphical errors I don't mind for a game this old, but the fact only malkavs and tremere are worth playing sucks big ass!

  • I'm played several campaigns of the PnP game, old and new. The Toreador will always be, to me, the little sissies who get everyone to do their work for them.

  • Hey they work wonders getting the populace their way. Lets be fair if actual work needs to be done.. work only a vampire can. They are not doing it!

Hell I like the nosferatu, ugly, nasty, mean.. but they get somewhere.

  • They have the means to make others do stuff for them. That's one interesting side of the Toreador, the other one is that they are still well prepaired for combat. If it weren't for Celerity my PnP character would be very hurt by now.

Velvet got pictured extremely emo, which doesn't reveal the true nature of a Toreador.

  • I have played the PnP game. I know what the natures of the clans are.

  • If Troika games wouldn't have died, I'm pretty damn sure we would have seen a sequel that would have given more credit to each of the clans.

  • @Darkplayer85 True, I wanted to play a Lasombra, in a Sabbat storyline... kill some cammie prince would be nice... =D

  • @darkchiron Aww, but Velvet's cool.

  • LOL, i so gotta play as a malkavian in this game sometime.

  • I feel like such a tool. Its a fucking video game character and I'm sitting here completely dumbstruck

  • I feel the same way. But for some reason, I like watching him play this game. It's so addicting. I guess it's because I have a full load of guy cousins that play video games all the time that I just like to watch them play. It's fun.

  • ''thats one tiny hunter''

  • HA! South Park reference.

    I'm a sad Panda too.

  • the thing about this game is that whoever you talk to you seem to be able to trust bequette more(sorry if i have miss-spelled bequette). even velvet seems a little, how would you say? strange? oh well i favour taliking to bequette because he gives you some skill when you talk to him.

  • Agreed with the two comments below me.

  • What the fuck was that try the corpse in the oven?

  • A sad panda? Hah, my friends and I say that all the damned time! =D

  • I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, but Vesuvius is a volcano in Italy. The thing at Pompeii? Yeah, that was Vesuvius.

  • Actually my character mentioned it.

  • Damn. And here I thought that I'd get a chance to show off how incredibly savvy I was about Greek stuff. Way to get shown up by a mental patient, me.

  • Exactly.I live in naples next to the vesuvius :D.

  • Are you italian? O.O

    Napoletano? *_*

  • If you play as a Nosfuratu, do you get a whole new set of quests?

  • Nah, there's just the added 'don't walk around in the open' mechanic and people react horribly differently.

  • There might be one or two quests I think, and you can get a haven with the Nosferatu if you play as one, but other than that, it changes the way you have to play the other missions, since walking around in public as a Nosferatu will make everyone freak out. You have to travel via the sewers and stuff like that.

  • You really dislike those Toreadors, don't you?

They seem like a Po' Boy's version of Ventrue Leaders.

  • Velvet Velour has a really good voice actor.

  • The same as Natla in Tomb Raider Anniversary. Damn, can´t remember her correct name and I´m too lazy to look it up on IMDB.

  • What the hell would I want seduce for? It doesn't even do anything for a male vampire.

  • Mount Vesuvius is best known for its eruption in AD 79 that led to the destruction of the Roman cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum. It has erupted many times since and is today regarded as one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world because of the population of 3,000,000 people now living close to it and its tendency towards explosive eruptions. It is the most densely populated volcanic region in the world.

  • Kind of an innuendo in this game too, if you think about it. ;)

  • Try the corpse in the oven with pepper?

    Was that a cooking tip?

  • Sounds like Mrs. Lovett. Maybe she cooked or burned a werewolf..?

  • Haha! I just realized it while reading the comments. You aren't by chance, Steeple, A sweeney Todd fan are you?

  • Sure! Angela Lansbury was great in that. XD Mrs. Lovett's a real crazy old bat.

  • Sweet! :D I love Sweeney Tood. It is just so twisted. Haha! Yeah..Deffinitly a Malkavian.

  • Great, that idea is stuck with me forever. Thanks. xP

  • Haha..you're welcome..:D It fits!

  • some clans drinks blood from corpses since their bites are very painful like the giovanni and some clans have to eat flesh and blood so they use corpses as well. if you been to the abandoned hospital, the corpses have been taken out of their oven/storage like bins and been eaten by the other vampires.

  • You mis-pronounce Toreador. The T in the beginning is pronounced "Wh". HAHA BAD JOKE GO.

  • It's a much more accurate name, in any case. lol

  • In many cases, that's unfortunately so. I remember atleast one book referring to Toreadors as "more human than human themselves". Or was that maxed out humanity on the humanity table? Oh well they are pretty-fgts :(

  • Hahaha" That's too far, I'd have to walk!"

You're starting to sound Malkavian yourself.

One time, My humanity was very low and when I asked I would get as a prize she just called me an asshole. lol

I was Toreador too. Their not that bad!

  • Awe, Really? I love the Toreadors! Then again, I love Anne Rice. Toreadors are based on Anne Rice...

  • You think so? I think they're just based on the "seductive vampire" archetype. Not everything with vampires has to do with Anne Rice. =P

  • I only think that because you know those

"VTM: Blurb" videos? When they go through each clan, for Toreador the guy just says that they are mostly based on Anne Rice's books. I kind of agree, but I see where you are coming from. Haha, Naw, you're right, not everything is about AR.

  • Ah, so someone else was spreading that? Sorry, I'm rather biased, having to deal with Anne Rice-worshipping teenyboppers who think she's the be-all end-all of vampires. @_@

Oh, it was fun telling them of some other myths, like the Rocky Mountain vampires who suck blood through their nostrils from a victim's ear, or a very common OCD where a vampire must count out spilled rice, millet, or sand. Haha~

  • Yes, the main 'producer' was. That's okay. I guess that's a steryo-type. If you would like to see Teeny Boppers, look at the Twilight series. 0.o Those fans have SERIOUS issues. I have not a fan that is over the age of twenty-five. It's very scary. :P Actually, many of the fans of Anne Rice (at least the board I go to,) are very mature. I haven't actually met anyone who does that with the AR books. Although I do admitt. I adore her books. :P I just try not to show it, especically in public.

  • Oh, now my foot's in my mouth. XD I don't doubt she has more mature fans - I heard her first two books are good - but I've dealt with the crazy, younger ones. @_@ I think the Twilight fans are crazier, though. XD

  • Hahaha. Oh yes, To tell the truth, I've never met younger fans. UNLESS you are talking about those who like that Shit called Queen of the Damned. THOSE fans give us a horrible name. Those Twilight fans are the ones who are like the younger Anne Rice fans. To put it simply, those people aren't Anne Rice fans. They like a movie who seems like a PARADOY of one of Anne Rice's works.

All the teeny-boppers are crazy! :D

  • Aha, so I happened to have been unfortunate. I bet all those teenyboppers are now rabid Twilight fans.

Ahh, it feels good to be a curmudgeonous old bastard, even if I'm not that old. XD

  • Yes, That sucks that you had to run into 'them' first. Oh, just to let you know. I'm a teenager and I hate Twilight..

    Hahaha..no, you're not a bastard.

  • Finally someone shares my hate of that God awful vampire "fan" fiction. Seriously, any teen with at least 8+ years of English class could write a story that plain and unoriginal as "Twilight".

  • Oh Thank God! I hate "Twilight" with a passion. I agree with you 100%. I don't know if I have ever hated a book so much in my life. lol It's probably not very healthy. You can't even have a good debate without someone saying something completely idiotic such as,

" Ure sO MeAn111 EdWard is SOOOO Hawt!"

That's their come back 95% of the time.

  • I've heard that same argument and its pathetic XD

  • I agree lol

  • Twilight is awful. I read the first book once, after constant nagging of my friends. It was okay, at first. Nothing too great, but not that bad, either. Then it came. Sparkly Vampires. What has the world come to?!

  • I agree I never was able to get very far in it but my friend filled me in and i was disappointed and the movie they made all the vampires look like regular humans but with an ailing illness slash dragqueen looking not that drag queens are bad if people are into that but you know what mean i hope

  • Agreed. Better yet, Twilight is a poorly written compilation of all goth fanfics and poetry mixed with a little teenage girls dreams to have a relationship with a vampire. Half the book is describing how 'hot' Edward is and he doesn't look or act anything as a real vampire, and it ends with the lead char giving up everything to kiss his cold lips. Bad. No point. Bad.

  • Ah, wonderful. You summed it up completly! You know what I hate more? Fans who say,

"Well, we hate Twilight-haters!" and that sort. If certian people were more intelligent, then this book would have either been 1. better written or 2. People would not be taken in by the fake vampire and all that s***.

  • Oh! Those myths! Yes, I have a book that I recieved from a friend called,

"How to Stalk a Vampire". It's actually for those real series vampire 'freaks'. They act like the Society of Leopald. I found out many intresting facts about vampires that most people would have no idea about. Very strange book...

  • Oh yes, I'm not too surpried that she inspired it. Yes, as much as I adore Anne Rice, I am glad that it isn't in the game. It might have messed it up completely. You don't like Anne Rice? That's fine, I respect your opinion.

  • I think white wolf improved a lot the concept, took other legends and found "core beleif", to explore and explain every little detail of the real world on their world (if WW2 happenned, it's because.. if in the collectif subconscient we think vampire = sexy hot, it's because of that historical event..)

    Anyway, i appreciate your "mind-openess" ;)

  • Yes, I agree with you again. I appreciate the way they did that too. It made the game actually enjoyable, intelligent, and life-like. If they did the most "sexy-hot", that would have made it feel like a mature version of Twilight.XD. Oh, thank you! :D

  • I'd love if you could get a hand into the "paper" RPG and find some players and game masters, so you could get more into the world than Bloodlines. Since you have so much more possibilities ! I think you could like it a lot ;)

Anyway, the video game is just a glince about what could or could not happen ;) Because in the game, as a player, you almost feel like you do everything at free will.. and it's all progamated !

  • oh yeah, i was kind of confused with the malkavian whisper.

    i usually understand them, but...

that one made only little sense to me

  • ahhhhhhhhhhh Velvet Velour...

    i... can't... resist... her...

    damn those Toreadors indeed XD

  • I either get angry at her or I fall for it. lol Got to love the game. :P

  • That's the weirdest whisper ever. lol And meddling that together is to put politely, grotesquely disturbing.
