I'm not picking on your gto but I am a mechanic and I think I heard some pinging or detonation! Might want to check that out before you leave parts on the ground! Car sounds great other than that! Did you hand tune or pro-tune the goat? We've found that pro-tuning is much better than any hand-held! Make sure to find a GOOD tuner! Too many fly-by nights out there! Got to make sure you 're in perfect tune for any of those mouse-stangs running around! I've had the same laugh with all my GTO's!!!

@n9athan Hate to say it, but if you're worried about mpgs, don't even think about it. Having said that though, I get the same millage as I did before the blower. Some awesome tuners can make your mpgs better with the blower then stock.

@n9athan be different go turbo not s/c think about how many people s/c their american sports cars compared to turbo setups.. plus you save on ges with a proper setup.. on average most people lose mpgs with a s/c setup about 6 mpgs to be exact. but depends on the car and the tune. you always use a s/c when driving giving you power on the spot, not like a turbo where it only spools depending on rpm's, tune, & boost. only giving you power when you want it not 24/7 and that's where you save gas.

@BhsMike I did the install myself, not sure what install costs would be. For the blower kit new, you're looking at 5k+. I got mine used and saved a good bit. I've thrown in all the other upgrades over time and can't really say, shifter, gauges, bigger fuel pump, suspension, clutch, etc.
